About this property

Central lakefront cabin. The marina is directly across the street where you can rent kayaks, paddle-boards, pontoons, etc. Book a boat tour with Charter Vallecito and enjoy a private outing. Across the street is the lakeside trail. Country markets and restaurants are 5 miles down the road. In the winter, enjoy ice fishing, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and more. Durango is ~25 minutes from Durango during the summer and ~35-40 min during the winter, depending on snowpack.

Cabin #1 and cabin #2 can be reserved together. This accommodation is the perfect arrangement for two families vacationing together, as the cabins are side-by-side. Please contact Bethany to inquire about availability.

Breathtaking

The property was everything that I had hoped for! Amazing views of the lake across the street! Waking up to that was gorgeous! I loved how easily I was able to just walk across the street to go fishing with my family! Locals were so nice and Bethany the host was more than helpful on answering all my questions and super responsive it was very much appreciated and helped us be more prepared for our trip. My husband and I would definitely be rebooking in the future! This place was heaven!

Amazing Location and Gorgeous Views

Loved staying at this cabin, the host thought of everything and we were very comfortable. The views from the front porch, or even just sitting at the table, were breathtaking.

Excellent!

Excellent! We loved everything about our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed even washer and dryer. The bed was comfortable. We liked eating breakfast on the front porch and looking at the beautiful view of the lake, boats and mountains. We enjoyed walking along the trail by the water. We didn’t get to take a boat ride this time but are planning to visit again. The drive to and from Durango is so pretty and we saw deer every time. We would definitely stay at this nice place again. Bethany was very good to us - thanks so much! Excellent trip!
