I'm sad to say this was a very disappointing property. The cabin's front porch was about 100 feet from a busy 2 lane road and the only restaurant-bar in the area was directly across the street. there was loud live music until 10 at night both Friday and Saturday. Certainly not what we expected from the description. The dumpster for the cabins was also right in front of our unit, where we parked. Inside the kitchen and bath were clean, but the rug in the bedrooms was frayed and badly stained. We wore socks if we were in those rooms. The light fixtures were full of dead bugs and the "dresser" in the main bedroom had no bottom drawer and the top was completely scratched. You would not pay 5 for it at a yard sale. The living room couch had two throw covers over it (we were bringing a dog, so I understand one) and was so low to the ground it was difficult to get in and out of. it was a very uncomfortable place to be and definitely overpriced.

Lake view/great food!

Enjoyed our stay in the Fishing Cabin! Beautiful view of the mountains and the top of the lake on the front patio. Close enough to the marina and other fishing spots without being too close. Visited the Weminuche Grill across the road multiple times…very tasty food and beverages. The market/restaurant next door was also a huge perk! Thanks for the small-town Colorado experience!

Cabin for Christmas

We drove in from Texas later than we had expected. Everything was ready for us to check in and Tara had the cabin decorated for Christmas which meant a lot to my kids. Our stay was great and we had all the amenities listed on the initial description. The only issue was the icy driveway which was too much for our vehicle to get up but that was just us being unprepared for the weather. The cabin, local area, and lake were all gorgeous and Tara was helpful and accommodating. We will probably try to come back in the summer.
