The perfect home for a great week at the shore! This classic Victorian style shore house has enough room for one very large family or several average sized families looking for a week full of memories.
*4 bedrooms + SIX bed third floor dormitory
*Comfortably sleeps up to 14 people
*2.5 baths plus a working outdoor shower
*Large wrap around porches with views of the ocean
*Recently fully renovated kitchen
*Extra large dining room table, enough to fit all 14 guests
*Central A/C
*Propane grill
*HD Cable TV + WIFI internet
*Short one block walk to beach (next block over is designated life guard swimming!)
*Shared laundry room with downstairs renters in back of the house
*Shared garage, perfect for storage of bikes, beach chairs and games/toys
*Two car driveway (one for this property, one for downstairs apartment)
*Cleaned/disinfected between every rental
*Beach tags NOT provided but easily purchased on the beach ($10 for entire week)
*Saturday-Saturday 7 day minimum stay during summer
*Three night minimum stay in off season (reduced rates!!)
*We do not rent to groups below the age of 25, sorry!
*Special notes: Each bed has a comforter and pillows provided, however, the tenet must bring their own sheets, pillowcases and towels for their stay!
*Additionally, common items such as paper towels, toilet paper, and toiletries are NOT provided
**Note: This home starts on the 2nd floor, there is a short flight of stairs to access it from the driveway. The first floor of this home is a separately rented ground floor apartment and also available for rent (VRBO# 2275153). Any additional questions, feel free to message me!

Along with my mom, Pam, we are the owners of The Sand Castle--An old Victorian style beach house built in 1910 (seriously!!). Growing up, my mom would take my sister and I to Sea Isle City for one week a summer to stay with her aunt who lived on island for the better part of 50 years. In 1994, my mom was driving down Landis Ave and drove by our house. She wasn't even really looking to purchase a shore house but something made her stop and peer in through the windows. She had a showing with the realtor within an hour and the house was ours a week later. All of my summer memories growing up are built around that house and I hope one day my children will build their own memories around The Sand Castle.
Why they chose this property
The saying "They don't build 'em like they used to" is a perfect description for The Sand Castle. It is literally the OLDEST house south of 57th street on the entire island. Surviving everything from the infamous Storm of 1962 to Hurricane Sandy, this house has seen it all. If you are looking for a unique, classic, old time Victorian shore home but updated to modern vacation standards, we would love to welcome you into our home.
