Great stay in Chicago! Four of us were in town for the Big10 men’s basketball tournament. The home was perfect for us with plenty of space and comfortable beds for everyone. Easy to get to the stadium and many downtown spots with a quick (15 min) Uber.Would definitely stay here again!
Great house fit five adults very comfortably well appointed with everything you need. We also loved the neighborhood. There was tons to do and everything was in walking distance.
We traveled to Chicago to attend a conference at McCormick Place. Hotel options are always slim around McCormick, so we opted for a couple property rentals for our sales crews instead, and this place did not disappoint! When we travel, we really only need a place to lay our heads and charge our phones/computers each night. This was the perfect location was that and more. It was clean with modern/updated fixtures and furnishings. We noticed there were extra pillows and blankets as well if needed. That's such a nice touch and something that's been missing at previous places we've rented. We didn't really need the kitchen, but it appeared to be well-stocked. There's also a Dunkin and Subway 2-3 blocks away--easy for busy professionals! I would highly recommend this property!
Exceeded my expectations. Comfortable, clean, pretty, safe neighborhood, responsive owner. The beds were so comfortable! My teenagers and I enjoyed our stay here and this house would be my first pick if I return to Chicago. You can tell that the owner cares about the guests and their experience.
We really enjoyed this super cute house! It was the perfect spot for our group. The descriptions and photos are accurate, and it is a very comfortable place. Communication with Tori was easy, and she is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
The house was fantastic. Spacious area in the kitchen, the living area was nice and the bedrooms were clean and cozy. The neighborhood was great. We were close to a number of neat restaurants and Thalia Hall which is where we went to a couple of concerts. Location was great - close to Midway, 20 minutes from downtown and just cool. Loved it a lot
Several co-workers had to be in Chicago for a conference. We looked to be close to the convention center and found this location. The home was comfortable and had all that we needed. This would be a consideration if we are in the area again.
Easy to get into, spotlessly clean, and within walking distance of entertainment, restaurants, etc. We went to a show at Thalia Hall, which is quite close. The rooms and appointments were as described, and the neighborhood, while not fancy, is quiet and safe. Would book again.
The house was beautiful, it made for a great weekend, and off street parking (especially in Chicago) made the weekend restful and so much fun. The host was hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed, and communication was easy. We highly recommend this listing.
We just spent a great Memorial Day weekend relaxing in this beautiful historic house and enjoying the Pilsen neighborhood. Spent a whole day just roaming the area on foot, visiting the National Museum of Mexican Art, having lunch out, watching kids play baseball in the park, and sampling bakeries and bookstores. The great surprise was that the Mole de Mayo festival was happening on 18th Street, with live music on two stages and two blocks of vendors to enjoy. Hope you can have as nice a time!
Very well appointed with great attention to the details! We sure enjoyed our stay near family on this quiet street in this cute bungalow.
I have two recommendations:
1. A grab bar to get in and out of the shower on the lower level. Some in our group have mobility issues.
2. Needed hooks or some means to hang wet towels, clothes, etc. upstairs.
Definitely will plan to stay again! Thank you!
