Oakura beachfront, 8 Kayaks, SU Paddleboard, Wifi, Gas fire pit

[2 Feb 2026] From 22 Jan 2026 Russell Road is closed due to a large slip. Sealed road access is available via Opua car ferry adding 1 3/4 hours travel time from south. Our bach in unaffected by the January flooding and is open for bookings.

Planted right on the beachfront of Oakura's white sandy safe swimming beach, this house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday in paradise. Watch the kids playing on the beach from the kitchen and open plan dining-lounge area. Plenty of water toys including 8 kayaks, a stand up paddle board, and boogie boards. Entertain and eat outside on the large rear deck into the evening with party lights and the gas fire pit.
This place is great for one or two families to share. Two double bedrooms (1 x king, 1 x queen beds) a bunkroom (1 bunk set sleeping 2 plus an innerspring single bed) and a small bedroom with 2 single beds with innerspring bases and mattresses. Sleeps 9 with 8 kayaks and a stand up paddle board for your use. Large open living area, 42” TV, stereo with Spotify and Netflix. Only 1 Neighbour. On-site parking for several cars and boat.

THE BUILDING

• Master Bedroom has a quality King bed and opens onto the large west deck
• Front bedroom with quality Queen bed opening onto northern seaward deck
• Bunkroom 1 with 1 bunk units (2 single beds) and an innersprung king single bed and base - access to master bedroom is through here
• Bedroom 4 with 2 comfortable innerspring single beds and bases
• Sleeps 2 couples plus 5 singles plus a baby cot

THE KITCHEN
• Full views of the lounge area, beach and ocean while in the kitchen
• Oven, Cook top, Microwave, 2 drawer dishwasher, 2 x Fridge Freezers, Toaster, Jug, Mixers etc.
• Large amount of crockery, utensils, baking and serving dishes, cups, glasses, wine glasses, etc.
• Nespresso coffee machine with 1 packed of 10 coffee pods supplied – bring your favourite flavours. Quality tea pot and coffee plunger.

Guest access

You have full access to the house, kayak shed with 8 kayaks and a stand up paddleboard, and laundry in the garage.

Interaction with guests

We live in Auckland but our caretaker lives just 300 metres from the house in case anything arises during your stay.
