This was my second stay here and we had a lovely time. The cottage is delightful and very close to the Woodside Rail Trail for an enjoyable walk. You can walk into town or to the supermarket within 15 minutes. The cottage is clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the cosy fire on cool nights. I highly recommend this place for a weekend away.

This is a dream cottage with loads of character and a lovely heritage gardenOur two little dogs had a wonderful stay in this fully fenced propertyThe kitchen was very well equipped for cooking and at this time of year feijoas and lemons were plentifulThe wood burner kept the cottage cozy although not essential as the heat pump was very effectiveCathy was a great host touching base to make sure our stay was comfortableOne of the best cottages we’ve stayed in

Perfect getaway

We’ve stayed here before and will stay again, perfect for us and our parents to have a couple of family days away together, lovely outdoor area for meals and close to town yet really peaceful plus we can bring our dog which is our reason for booking properties as he’s always on the tour!

Simply gorgeous!

We absolutely loved staying at the cottage! Super cosy having the fireplace, the house was immaculate and the beds were really comfortable with gorgeous linen. Lots of lovely touches and tastefully decorated, we will most definitely be back!
