This modern, luxuriously furnished self contained home is nestled in a bush-clad hillside in Paihia, Northland, New Zealand. Known as the 'Winterless North,' the Bay of Islands is a cluster of over 144 islands.
This 3 double bedroom home is tastefully furnished with quality fittings. Beach views are from the main lounge and 3 separate decks. Is fully self-contained, modern and spacious. Perfect for a large family or even two families.
Close to all amenities, only a 7 minute walk to the beach, cafes and restaurants. Is on the doorstep to big game fishing, cruising the many tranquil islands, Waitangi, adventure activities or just relaxing on the beach.

This home features a full kitchen with stainless steel fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Linen is supplied.

There is a double garage for cars.
Special conditions:
Minimum stay two nights - one nights stay can be arranged by negotiation.
We reserve the right to amend tariff and minimum night stay especially during statutory Holidays.

There is plenty for all ages to do within walking distance of this property. And short drives can yield many, many more interesting/fun family things to do. A very nice time is to go to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds - very interesting tour; give yourself plenty of time and note that the ticket price is good for two days.

Everything was an easy ride from local dial a ride. We did the glow worm tour and the Barefoot Sail Boat tour. Both were excellent. 4 Square was close and easy for groceries. The views from the unit were spectacular!

Perfect for our needs prepping for s sailing trip. Perfect blend of comfy and spacious. Had everything we needed. Everything was in good, new condition and worked well. Quiet neighborhood even though nits are close to eachother. Close to town. Wud stay there again.

Great views, balconies and proximity to Paihia

We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the views and being able to walk to Paihia. The host was very responsive and communication was great. Nice to be able to bbq on the balcony. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Paihia is an amazing place. The stay we were at was beautiful. Everything was immaculate and extremelly clean.Views were amazing and easy check in and out.Only thing I can fault would be need of cooling in the house.

There were 6 of us (3 couples) we all had a wonderful stay at this property. So clean, tidy and very comfortable. Lovely views! So close to everything around Paihia and to Waitangi. Sun trap Paihia

Lovely accommodation walking distance to town (if you don't mind a short hill back). Clean bright and airy with views and decks to watch the sunset over the hills. With the winter sun shining in the lounge/kitchen area toasty warm. Beautifully presented and had every thing you need for preparing food at home. Close to the beautiful walk up the hill behind Paihia

Difficult to leave!

Thanks Phil for the most fabulous stay in your house /appartment. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the views one had from the lounge room and balconies was awesome. We really would have liked to have stayed much longer, the house being equipped with everything one needed and just a great place to relax. We visited Paihia in peak season so the town was very busy. The Property is in great condition and has an amazing location super close to town whilst being tucked away and quiet. It is well equipped. The view required a bit of imagination but we enjoyed our time on the balconies in the fresh breeze. The upstairs section of the house is nicely laid out. A few opportunities to improve to excellent rating include more plates (only six total), bowls and cutlery, as we were constantly washing up, consider air conditioning or fly wire upstairs on the windows, as it got unbelievably hot at night even though the temperature was only around 23c outside. We could not leave the windows open for air at night due to all the mosquitoes.The property manager responded quickly to two issues we raised whilst there. Overall we had a very good stay!
