Spectacular Seaside Studio Cottage at Waipu Cove

This beautiful WATERFRONT Studio Cottage is situated right on the estuary waterfront at historic Waipu Cove in a private 1.5 acre waterfront sanctuary. The Pacific Ocean and surf beaches of Bream Bay, Waipu Cove are at your doorstep. It is only two minutes drive to Waipu Cove and Waipu Village shops, cafes and great restaurants. Safe swimming and kayaking at the bottom of the garden.

The magnificent surf beaches of Bream Bay, Waipu Cove and Langs Beach are minutes away and the Studio Cottage is also handy to Uretiti, Langs Cove and Mangawhai Heads beaches.

There are two great golf course at Waipu and Mangawhai only a short drive away. Visit Waipu caves, go horse riding, play tennis. Go kayaking, swimming or surfing. All this plus all the comforts of home in this beautiful Studio cottage with it's own private driveway. Open plan room with a comfy king bed.
Also enjoy our beautiful in garden gazebo Hot Springs spa overlooking the water and our private movie theatre with over 200 movies to choose from, all on a giant 120 inch screen with surround sound and gold class seating.

Winter is great too with the latest generation heat pump to keep you warm and cosy.
Special conditions:
NZ$50 extra per additional person per day. NZ$20 extra per pet per day.
Smoking only allowed outside the Studio. The guest will be liable for any damage or breakages.

We enjoyed our stay here but the set up wasn't entirely clear in the advertisement.

We enjoyed our stay here but the set up wasn't entirely clear in the advertisement. The studio is lovely and clean and has beautiful views and a big lawn. It is right next to another similar studio. The cooking facilities are minimal. Next door is a large lodge, and the spa pool and cinema are based there, and shared with all other guests. The cinema has to be booked and there are set times for screenings. We were grateful that they did an early screening so our kids could watch a movie early.

Location was okay - fairly close to the beach.

Location was okay - fairly close to the beach. Donkeys were very loud during the night and early morning - bring earplugs. Cottage was tidy and clean, and the outdoor setting is nice, however it is very small and we didn't think it was anywhere near worth the price we paid for it. My partner stayed in one the night before for $120 less, that was much bigger and nicer with amazing views.

Good location, close to beaches.

Good location, close to beaches. The studio is light and airy. It's an ok size for 3 people. Good deck space and grass area. Plenty of farm animals around for kids. Good access to beach via the estuary on a boat. Access to the main beach/village is via car, or you can walk on the road (100km, no footpath). The view of the beach from the studio is blocked by trees.

The cottage was gorgeous, clean, and well equipped.

The cottage was gorgeous, clean, and well equipped. The bonus of the property was the quiet location , tucked amongst pohutukawa trees, beside a river, which although muddy, was a fun canoeing spot (with canoes supplied). In addition , there were donkeys, sheep, and a variety of other animals, which we all enjoyed. A fantastic spot if you have young children as the animals would delight them for hours!

Location great.

Location great. Welcome not so great, straight to eftpos terminal for payment before seeing the property or any information. Owners need to make it explicit that the spa pool is on their property and that you have to walk across the front of their property to go to the spa. The movie theater advertised is also in their property which needs to be made explicit. We believe the advertisement is very misleading. Not clean, dead roaches, bbq plate rust covered that we had to clean before use!

A lovely bach, very close to the water's edge in a great location. With free use of the sit-on kayaks and the hot-tub spa it was a wonderful relaxing nights stay. It was very clean and warm (on a rare frosty night) and we both slept really well. An excellent place ... many thanks.

We had an amazing time at this hidden paradise in Waipu. We loved the location, the view, jacuzzi, kayaking, BBQ and private cinema. We highly recommend this cottage for perfect weekend getaway. We would definitely visit and stay here again.
