Free Wi Fi and Sky TV are provided with a large HD LCD TV screen in the living room.
The apartment is designed for an extended family but is also ideal for up to 4 couples or a max of 9 singles. There is a supply of DVD's, books, games and puzzles, and 2 sets of Callaway golf clubs (assorted drivers) available for the use of guests.
The two main bedrooms are upstairs, each with a king bed, en suite, walk in wardrobes and private balcony with stunning views. The master also has a spa bath. On the main floor are the kitchen, dining and living areas - all open plan. Sliding doors can be pulled right back to allow full access to the terrace which has a table and chairs for 8. The garage, and laundry with toilet and handbasin are also on this level and the study can, upon request, be converted into a private bedroom for a couple who may find the stairs difficult to manage. The whole ground floor is one large room with en suite, TV, DVD player, table and chairs. It has 4 beds in 2 bunks, plus comfortable, queen size bed, and 1 fold down, queen couch, so the sleeping arrangements are flexible with a maximum of 4 for comfort.
Close proximity to central Queenstown gives you easy access to the shopping, restaurants, cafes and tourist operators, with no parking problems. With almost every type of adventure tourism you can imagine available you can choose to go sky-diving, bungee jumping, ski-ing, rafting - and so the list goes on! About the host

My grandfather, from Invercargill, purchased the land, and built the original holiday house on this site in the mid 1930's. It remained in the family until 2004 when the top half of the house was moved to Cromwell, a nearby town, where it is still in family ownership. The current block of apartments was built at that time and the family retained ownership of this one. It is still used mainly as a family holiday place, with the original owner's great, great grandchildren now enjoying holidays here.
I too, grew up in Invercargill but now live in Christchurch, having lived overseas for a couple of periods. Wherever we have moved, Queenstown has always been the constant. My sister is still in Invercargill and we each have a child living in Queenstown. These two will be your contacts, during your stay.

Why they chose this property

This is an ideal spot for a couple of families as it was built specifically with an extended family group in mind.

What makes this property unique

Minutes walking distance from all Queenstown has to offer, and views you will never forget!
