It's in a very nice location near a canal and close to main local trains. The house is a very strange shape but works. Not suitable for more than 4 people given tiny place to sit.

The condo is clean and charming, with one BR on first floor and another on 3rd floor. 1.5 bath rooms are clean and convenient. The separate shower/ bath on first floor is clean, spacious and good water pressure. The location is very convenient with 5min walk to subway station, although cars can only get to the front of the alley, not into the actual street its on. That confused us and our taxi driver quite a bit. Would be happy to stay in the same place again in the future when we visit Japan.

Beautiful property! It is so convenient for family of four. The parents took the room on the ground floor and the kids were on the top level 3 floor and at and spent time on the middle/ second floor. We love the space in a cozy home

I highly recommend Takadanobaba House for your stay in Tokyo! Our family of 4 stayed comfortably in the house. The location is fantastic for touring Tokyo and visiting Waseda University. The house was impeccably clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for an easy dinner in, on the night that jet lag hit hardest! Our host was very welcoming, and thorough with communication. We were surprised to find that the entry code was changed daily but, he stayed on top of it with clear communication. The house is in a lovely, peaceful location near the river. Takadanobaba station is 1 stop away by train or just a 10 minute easy walk. From there we had access to multiple trains and lines, groceries, other shopping and many, many restaurants!

Incredibly convenient location, just a very short walk to the train station. Very clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were big enough for us. Only thing I would say to be aware of is that the 3 floors are divided by a single staircase that is a bit narrow and steep. There is a Lawson right down the road, on the way to the train station. Excellent for when you're coming back late at night. The Lawson is a great pickup/drop-off spot for taxis if you need a ride.
