Great Family Vacation

Coastal Cottage comes through

The Coastal Cottage is a great property with many amenities. It is very close to the beach and is centrally located in the northern Outer Banks. I would definitely rent here again.

Great location

Great location, very close to beach. Fully stocked kitchen and shed was filled with umbrellas and beach chairs. House needed a deep cleaning, lots of cobwebs and dust.

2022 Beach Vacation

This is our second time returning to formerly Heavens' Scenes and couldn't be more pleased. The home is perfectly situated for easy beach access as well as to the Duck Boardwalk. This property includes all amenities to have an awesome beach vacation, we will be returning in the future!

You won’t be disappointed!

Mitch and Nancy had great communication throughout the reservation process as well as during our stay. Loved the well stocked kitchen and the short walk to the beach. Definitely recommend. Thanks for sharing your vacation home !

3 Kings, Amazing location and excellent customer service

We loved this location! While it isn’t right on the water, it is only steps away and didn’t feel much different than most of our previous waterfront properties. It was perfect for our group of 3 families including ages 12+. The kids and adults had plenty of little nooks to entertain everyone. We appreciated how well the owners/managers communicated and responded to every question/concern.

Wonderful Stay!

We loved our stay at this wonderful home! The location was excellent -- in a nice community within feet of the beach, and within a short drive of both the village of Duck and Corolla. The house was incredibly comfortable and beautifully decorated, with a very well stocked kitchen. We loved the wrap-around deck! While only my husband and I stayed here, it would be great for a multiple family and/or friends getaway. The host and hostess were also incredibly helpful, answering all of our questions prior to our stay. We highly recommend this property!

Vacation Heaven

We loved our week staying at Mitch and Nancy's beautiful home in Duck! The house was very roomy and comfortable! Plenty of space for everyone! We spent every night on the deck just enjoying the views and the peace and quiet of the neighborhood! The beach was so close and with two little ones and two dogs that was a huge plus! The dogs were allowed on the beach any time and it was nice that they were able to be with us! Our new favorite place and we cannot wait to go back!

Perfect spring break

Mitch is responsive and accommodating. Once we arrived he made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The house is great and super close to the beach. The kids loved the house and the amenities helped when the weather was not suitable for the beach. It was a perfect home for our spring break covid friendly getaway.

The Best!

This is a large, clean, beautiful beach home with everything anyone could need or want: fire pit, bikes with helmets, close proximity to the beach, hammock, quiet neighborhood...Our family has stayed in many beach houses over the years and this was our favorite. Mitch and Nancy were very kind and answered our questions promptly. Highly recommend!!

OBX family vacation

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home amenities were great and close proximity to the beach a real treat. The house was clean and in fine condition although the windows could use a good washing. Loved the game room, fire pit, multiple outdoor decks, and the 220 volt line in the garage for EV charging. Having the opportunity to bring our four legged family member a real bonus. Overall highly recommend!

Excellent weeklong stay with 3 families

We had 14, 8 kids and 6 adults, stay for the week. The weather didn’t cooperate with our beach week, but the property gave us more than enough space to not be on top of each other. The kids enjoyed the game room, the adults were all very happy to each having their own bathrooms and bedrooms. Property has plenty of dishes and cookware for us to cook for 14. Two refrigerators keep everything cool and the ice maker was a big hit with everyone.
