Our stay at the secluded Gore Mountain Pine Panelled Getaway was wonderful! Th house was very cozy and had plenty of room for the 6 of us that stayed. Our kids loved the pool table in the basement. The grounds provided a great p[lace for our dog and all of our inquisitive kids (22, 20 and 15). We had a fabulous time exploring what Johnburg has to offer! Would recommend to bring your family here!
Property was as advertised except the driveway is not paved. Given I was bring classic cars with me and asked the question regarding access I would have appreciated know it was not paved. With that said, it was a nice property and stay
This is definitely a hunting cabin in the woods. The bedrooms were so comfortable and the showers were hot with excellent water pressure. There were some creepy crawlers in the cabin, but tucked right into the woods the way it is, it can’t be avoided. We enjoyed our stay, just make sure you bring food.
This was our 3rd trip back to the cabin over the years. Always a cozy place to stay when taking a family ski trip to Gore mountain.

So close to Gore! It was large, and the stove was great to warm everyone up after a long day. It was a particularly snowy couple of weeks, and the host has a good contact for plowing and stayed on top of things.
This place is great! Both indoor and outdoor wood fireplaces, room enough for plenty of people to do a group trip here. I was there off ski season for fall colors and it was just a beautiful place to relax. Extremely fairly priced for the amount of available room.
Great communication with the host. Traveled with our family of 5. Very roomy. Close to Gore Mountain. Use of the wood stove was a must to combat the cold temps (-9). Had everything we needed to eat in. Loved the variety of games and books.
Cabin is larger than it appears, easily fit my family and dogs. Nestled in the woods but close to major roads. Very close to Gore Mt. Owners are very quick to respond to any questions. Enjoyed our stay
This cabin/home is very conveniently located for skiing at Gore and exploring this part of the Adirondacks! We also appreciated the extras for the downtime, like the pool table and selection of movies and games. Thanks for a great stay!
Best seal of approval is that we go every year, and we DO. Private setting, roomy house, easy kitchen to cook in, grill on the deck, and accessible to a lot of places if you want to skip that for the day. It is very easy to relax in this place, plenty to do if you are stuck in on rainy days, spacious enough to spread out, and the dogs love it. We never want for more when staying here. Perfect.
Loved the privacy in the woods with area for our dog to walk. Used as base camp for driving to historic sites during the day. Within range of several small towns with restaurants.
Lovely Adirondack cabin the was well stocked and very cozy. Just a short drive to Gore and several restaurants. We had 6 people in 4 bedrooms but there were futons available to easily sleep 10. Great place.
