Welcome to Sandy Palms….

COMPLETELY RENOVATED AFTER THE 2024 STORMS with new drywall, electrical, plumbing, cabinets, vanities, paint, appliances & more. New photos were taken Dec 20, 2024.

You’ll love this updated classic Florida beach house. On a quiet dead-end street and close to everything in Holmes Beach. It’s a perfect home base for your family to enjoy the laid back, Old Florida lifestyle of Anna Maria Island. Sandy Palms is managed by the owners who live in FL and are always available if you should need anything during your stay.

Sandy Palms is a single family home- not a duplex. Completely renovated and updated through out with all the comforts of home . The house is professionally cleaned between each guest. We (the owners) personally check the home before each check-in to assure everything is ready for your arrival.

The blue gulf waters and spectacular sunsets are just a 5 minute walk. Restaurants and shopping are a couple of blocks away. Grocery store is only 1-1/2 miles away. And the free AMI trolley stop is right around the corner, where you can catch a ride to stops all over the island. Shopping, dining, live music, fishing…. you’ll be spoiled for choices to fill your vacation days.

This ground level home has no stairs to climb, just one step-down into the sunroom. New tile floors throughout. Our kitchen is well stocked quartz countertops and appliances. There's a spacious primary suite with walk-in closet and a large glass shower. Guest room 1 has a king bed and en suite bath with walk-in shower. Guest room 2 has two twin beds. There's a 3rd bathroom with a shower/tub combo and a door to the private outside shower. All bedrooms have closets, fans and smart TVs. The pool (heated to 85 deg Oct thru May) is protected with a removable child-safety fence. It's a perfect place for your family to enjoy time together without having to share common spaces with strangers.

Just bring your bathing suit and flip-flops, we've got the rest. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cart and a coolers are provided for your convenience. And a supply of soaps, detergents, paper products and basic spices are stocked for you as well.

We’ve been coming to AMI for years and would love to share our recommendations for anything else you might need…. just ask!

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors
Please wash & dry all towels except the ones you need for the morning of departure.
Please return any moved furniture to it’s original location.
Please return all beach items to the storage shed.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
There is parking for 3 vehicles only. No RVs, boats, commercial trucks or trailers allowed. No parking on the street.
Smoking and vaping are prohibited anywhere on the property.
No jumping, flipping, diving or horseplay of any kind in/ around the pool. It's only 4' deep. Children must be supervised at all times by an adult.

This house is fantastic!! We have stayed in many beach rentals and this house is superior in every way. Everything you could want or need in a beach house rental. Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach wagon, beach towels, coolers and even beach toys for kids. The house is perfect inside, totally redone in very beautiful colors, so comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and also has an outdoor grill. The pool is a nice way to end the day relax and enjoy the beautiful backyard!! The beach is a 4 minute walk. 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Perfect for 3 couples or a family of 6. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

Having a place of our own here has been a dream for many years. We're so excited to finally make it a reality. We hope you enjoy our home-away-from-home as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this particular house because it's "just enough".

Just big enough to have everything you need, just small enough to keep tidying-up chores easy, just close enough to all the fun but still be private & quiet, and just far enough away from our home in Tampa to feel like a vacation without a long drive.

What makes this property unique

Our house is centrally located on Anna Maria Island, close to beach, the bay, shopping, entertainment and dining.
The beach is just a 5 min walk away..... 10 houses.... exactly 450 steps. Our beach area is usually not crowded as their is no public parking nearby so day trippers are not an issue.
We go the extra step between each guest; the house is professionally cleaned and then double checked by ourselves, the owners. We live only an hour away and we are always reachable, so you're never going to be left without someone to address any issues you may have.
We take great pride in keeping our vacation house as nice & inviting as our full time home. We think of you as our personal guests.
