About this property

Paihia Beach House - Central Paihia - bay of islands

A Modern well appointed house nestled in a bush clad setting with sea views.
The house can be used as one large 5 bedroom / two living area 3 bathroom house accomodating 11, or as a three bedroom, 2 bathroom house accomodating 7 and a fully self contained wing apartment that accommodates 4.
You decide the configuration, as all beds other than the main master suite are splittable into singles as well
There is a large deck on the seaward side of the property with alfresco dining, BBQ and loungers over looking the bay, Islands and paihia beach through the native forest reserve.
A spa pool and heated out door shower downstairs.
Parking for up to five vehicles, or even the boat up to 2m high
A short walk (2.5minutes) down a Bush track into Kings Rd and one of Paihia's safe swimming beaches.
Located right at the end of the road, so no through traffic to disturb you. Just a minutes walk to shops, supermarkets, restaurants and night clubs or paihia wharf.

Smoking allowed outside only.
Our house is drug free and safe. It is tested and documented after every tenancy and any offenders details will be passed on to the police and any costs of repairs will be charged to the offending tenant.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful property

We were 3 couples renting this lovely home for a week. Despite off and on weather - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home is exactly as pictured. Very comfortable. Highly recommend it.

Paihia Paradise

This property managed to accomodate a large group of adults with a mix of couples and singles. The location was great and the property did mostly deliver. I think a bit more thought to the number of towels provided for a week of stay plus a more well equipped kitchen could have warranted a gold star rating.

Family holiday

Disappointingly, this expensive property did not live up to our expectations.Pluses were: location, generous help from the neighbour, when the property manager was out of townNegatives were: driveway (very difficult access), non-functioning internet (without the neighbour we would have not had Wifi access), no broom to sweep the floors, a BBQ that had not been cleaned for a long time and was very difficult to start.Overall, I rate this property as marginally good, when our expectation was excellent given the cost.

This stay was a challenge, didn't supply preferred bedding layouts until last minute and got upset with me for repeatedly requesting these details so I could organise the cleaners. He then wanted an early check-in in the morning so we scheduled extra cleaners to accomodate. they then turned up late evening. He had to be helped by my mother who lives next door to operate the lock box / internet login, Start BBQ which was cleaned / not dirty as suggested. He got agitated with my mother, when she was trying to help him with what should be simple tasks. All of the above were operating correctly as far as we could tell and have been since. Very disappointing behaveour and hurtful after trying so hard to accomodate him. On the positive side they did respect the property and left it relatively clean.

We stayed in the house the weekend of our wedding, its a great set up! Can accommodate lots of people and has 3 bathrooms which is a bonus!! Highly recommend to anyone!

A great base for exploring the Bay of Islands. Comfy beds and plenty of space. Enjoyed the outdoor deck overlooking the bay. Convenient walk to restaurants and wharf. Property manager was helpful & we appreciated being able to check in slightly earlier. The property was generally well equipped and clean but we thought there were some areas which needed maintenance/cleaning. The Property manager was very receptive to feedback however. Overall would highly recommend this as we had a fabulous stay.

Tranquil & central location

The house was presented in immaculate condition and worked very well for a mix of ages and activities. The view and bush-setting is divine. Thoroughly recommend for a getaway whilst still close walking distance to all activities Paihia has to offer.

Absolutely beautiful!

We had an absolute fabulous time! Group of 9 ladies from all around NZ catching up for the 25th year somewhere we haven't stayed together. The house was perfect. Beds were split to singles and everything was spotlessly clean. View was gorgeous from house and spa. With a short walk thru native track down to the waterfront to cafes, restaurant & liquor store. Thank you very much.

This is a very unique property it feels secluded, like you are living in a forest overlooking the sea. But you are geographically in the very hart of the town and only minutes walk from everything paihia has to offer.
