Comfortable cottage that warms up quickly with the heat pump (thankfully, as we were there on one of the coldest days this winter!). Comfortable beds, great kitchen dining and living areas. Reasonable pressure in the shower and a well designed bathroom (no shower splashes all over the floor) but remember to bring your own bodywash, shampoo etc as none is supplied. Good to have offstreet parking and to be an easy walk to the central city and Pukekura Park. Lovely neighbourhood towards the park especially - we really enjoyed our walks and even got invited into a very friendly neighbours home!

The cottage was everything advertised, charming, cosy and very conveniently located. The bathroom in particular was very nice. Only tiny glitch was intermittent pauses while streaming on the TV.

Great accommodation, very homely. Small things like the wall light at the bathroom door helped at night. Cosey, and very close to town centre. Would stay again.

This was a cute, older home that was updated beautifully. Everything about the home was warm and inviting, with everything necessary to feel at home. Plenty of plugs to charge electronics was a bonus. We loved the location! It was within walking distance of several grocery stores and restaurants. We were in town to see the Festival of Lights and the house was within walking distance of the Festival.

The property was conveniently situated with just quick walk into town. As a stop gap between homes this was a great solution.

Gorgeous artsy well loved cottage in a handy area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We felt like we were stepping back in time amongst history and the place was decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean. Caitlin was excellent at communicating with us and we appreciated that. We will definitely be back when we visit the area again. Thanks for the nice experience Caitlin!

A quiet and very pleasant stay in a charming villa

We loved our stay in the villa. It had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable with excellent quality bedding. The layout of the villa was perfect and the decking was a nice, sunny place to hang out. If I was going to point out any slight disappointments, the shower was a little weak and the lounge sofas could have been of better quality, but these are only minor issues.

Lemon St villa

Lovely feel to the villa. Every need catered for. Sparkling clean and very central. A bonus was the wee Philipino 'shop' next door and a yummy coconut buko pie just out of the oven.

The cottage was lovely. Handy location, generally comfortable and had everything we needed. One suggestion for the owner is perhaps a drier would be great. We managed to dry clothes etc on clothes horse but if it had rained we wouldn't have been able to. Owner was very helpful and prompt replies. Thank you.
