ANTLER’S EDGE is a rustic cabin on the beautiful Johnson Creek.
This 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin will accommodate up to 8 adults comfortably with everything you will need to have a great time.
The great room is made up of the living area, dining area (seats 8 at the dining table), open kitchen - all new appliances and well stocked pantry for entertaining w/an island that seats 2 and another separate sitting area as well that looks out to waterfront. Comfortable furnishings and views of the Creek make for a relaxing stay that will not disappoint.
The expansive covered porch also looks out over Johnson Creek with plenty of seating to enjoy the view. The Party Barn is just steps from the cabin with a hot tub and outdoor kitchen prep area with a separate storage area (w/overhead door for easy access) that houses the kayaks, oars and life jackets for Antler's Edge. The fire pit area, star gazing and s’mores should definitely be on your evening agenda that will provide for relaxation after a busy day on Johnson Creek that might include swimming, kayaking, and/ or fishing!

Conveniently located - 5 minutes to Ingram & 15 minutes to Hunt or Kerrville! The Johnson Creek private waterfront getaway is just a short drive back to Ingram where you will find the Ole Ingram Grocery, the Old Ingram Loop for shopping, food & art - also check-out the HCAF & The Point Theater (temporarily closed). From there you can head East to Kerrville or West to Hunt where you will find some of the popular summer camps in the area - the Vista Camps, Camp La Junta, Camp Mystic, Heart of the Hills and Waldemar, Camp Stewart and Camp HoneyCreek (just to name a few). You can check out Crider’s Rodeo & Dancehall (seasonal) on Friday & Saturday nights (temporarily closed), Mo Ranch, and the YO Ranch that are nearby as well.

Antler’s Edge is one of 2 cabins at this private (*shared) waterfront location.

*Shared waterfront is with Doe See Doe. Feel free to call about booking the two together! Antler's Edge will sleep up to 8.

Stayed at this house in February and we had a blast. House was updated, clean, and full of character. Our kids loved the hot tub and party barn. We had nights full of star gazing next to the awesome fire pit. Johnson Creek is beautiful with great fishing…caught several catfish and bass. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Family Time

Our very eclectic group of family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our week at Antler’s Edge and Doe-See-Doe. We rented both properties as we had too many to fit in the Antlers Edge lodge alone. Having both places to stay was perfect for us. We received enough rain before and during our stay that water time was great fun. The addition of the pool floats added greatly to our water activities. We love the fire pit and used it quite a bit during our stay. Thus was our second time to rent these properties and we will return. It is simply perfect for big family groups.

Best vacation ever!

This place was exactly what we were looking for: A secluded place just for us with private accesses to the creek, kayaks for all of us. Kids had lots of space to run around, a huge fire pit and on top of it all a super large jacuzzi, separate from the cabin with TV and small kitchenet. Cabin was fully equipped with every thing one needs and more. Audrey the property manager is a superhost! We will defiantly be back.

Family eclipse gathering

This beautiful, special, quiet place was perfect for our small family gathering to share the eclipse. The home was perfect for two couples to each have our own private space. We made amazing meals in the kitchen, sat on the porch and listened to the crickets and birds as the sun went down, kayaked along the creek in the mornings, and drank wine around the fire and told stories at night. If we come back to the Texas HIll country we will definitely stay here again. The beds were super comfortable and the home has a warm energy and is comfortably furnished. It’s just a perfect place to spend time with people you love!

Relaxing getaway

Had a wonderful relaxing family weekend. The cabin is roomy and comfortable. Three of us enjoyed kayaking on the creek while the others chilled inside. We had a nice fire with s’mores one night. Everything was perfect for a nice retreat.

Family Getaway

We greatly enjoyed our week at this property. We rented Doe See Doe along with this larger unit so all of our large party could stay close together. What a wonderful location. This was perfect for a leisurely family/close friends week. The creek was flowing nicely which made kayaking ever so fun. The teenagers had a great time playing in and in the creek. The fire pit was perfect for late night ‘s’mores and stargazing. What a beautiful and peaceful location. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. We cooked all our meals at the cabin during our stay. The gas grill was a nice plus and we made use of it often during our stay. We will definitely rent this property again should we choose to stay in this area in the future.

The house is beautiful with comfortable beds. There was plenty of room inside and a great porch to sit on. The waterfront is the best!! The kids stayed in the water for hours. It was a perfect family vacation and our favorite house in Ingram.

The home was beautiful and perfectly clean, and the location was amazing. Communication with the host couldn't have been better. We had so much fun playing in the cool and refreshing water. My only recommendation would be to trim the trees back by the water to make fishing or launching a kayak easier. Thank you Audrey for a very special trip.

The cabin, party barn, and property were amazing! Very clean, had everything we needed to cook full meals, towels and lots of other extras! Added bonus the property manager was a breeze to work with and very friendly! No one wanted to go home and now we cant wait to go back!
