This is an ideal spot for your summer holiday, a chance to live at the beach. Pataua is an amazing location, with so many options for enjoying your time.

The front deck is now covered with a roof and enclosed with clear sliders so can be enjoyed in all weather - a great space for relaxing with the view and dining together.

A few popular activities include swimming and snorkelling in the estuary, gathering shellfish on the low tide, riding bikes across the footbridge to Pataua North, surfing at Pataua North beach, boating, fishing and diving along the coast, climbing the mountain, jumping off the bridge, walking to Frogtown beach for swimming and body-boarding, and of course just spending time relaxing in the sunshine on the beach.

Amazing summer holiday spot

We loved our stay in Pataua South. This little kiwi bach had everything we needed for our stay. The location was amazing with so much for the kids to do - kayaking, swimming, bridge jumping, boating and boogie boarding! We’ll definitely be back 😊

Perfect at Pataua

We loved our holiday at Pataua with the location and property meeting all expectations. Great space and amenities/activities for 8 people, regardless of weather (cyclone Hale paid us a visit....). Our host, Amy, was easy and friendly to communicate with, providing excellent information about the local environment. Lovely place to relax and enjoy.

Great Bach awesome location

The Bach is in a great spot right on the beach - brilliant deck sheltered from the breeze. Clean, welcoming and plenty of room for extended family over Xmas hols. Great sleep out. Heaps to do in Pataua from kayaking, bridge jumping, fishing, swimming and relaxing in the sun.

Kiwiana at its best

Our family stayed at Amy's bach and had a fantastic holiday. Kids played in the estuary every day exploring and we could easily paddle over to the surf. Absolutely magical. We were very happy with the service and hospitality of Amy as a host. Would recommend coming here.

Place was a perfect kiwi holiday home. Simple clean, had everything you need and in paradise! The property is amazing right on the estuary. We lounged on the front lawn, surfed, kayaked, bbq, jumped off the bridge, beach runs and explored the surrounding outstanding beaches. Literally could not have hoped for better. Amy was great with communication! Highly recommend and we will be back!

The property is located right on the estuary with the most amazing views.

The property is located right on the estuary with the most amazing views. You can literally walk out the door and swim off the front of the section. The Property is a quintessential kiwi Bach recently refurbished, simple yet had everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
