The Retreat Holday home Taupo is just that a retreat. Well set up with everything you will need to enjoy your stay. The home is ideally suited for extended families, sports orientated people and people who want to relax and take in this beautiful part of the world.
So centrally located you can walk to all Taupo has to offer in the town centre.
They say there is some form of event, attraction on in Taupo nearly every weekend of the year.
We would be here all day listing Taupo's many attractions and activites but stayng at The Retreat Taupo will give you a great base to stay to enjoy these events.
It is under 1 1/2 hours to Mt Ruapehu, 30 minutes to Turangi 1 hour to Rotorua and 3 hours from Auckland. This home will be a great place to base yourself.
and Plenty of off street parking. Large double garage with internal access to store your sporting equipment. and vehicles. With the many events in Taupo you will be right on the door step to enjoy them all.
The home includes a heat pump, just turn it on and with the DVS system the house will be warm in no time. There are heaters in all bedrooms which will warm them up when it is cold. The master bedroom has an ensuite.
We know that people want to be connected and that is why we are pleased to offer free WiFi. We do ask should you bring your pet please have have them outside or in the garage.Please read our information book which we leave on the lounge table. This gives clear instructions and information on the operation of the free view tv, DVD, heat pump, WiFi etc. Please read. We want you to enjoy your stay and encourage feed back. You wont be disappointed

WE HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED STAYING AT YOUR HOME AND SAME THIS TIME. HOWEVER, THERE WAS A STRONG FISHY ODOUROUS SMELL AS WSE ENTERED THE LOUNGE AND KITCHEN AREA.WE COULD NOT FIND THE REASON FOR THE SMELL.

Hi kere Sorry about the smell. I did ask my cleaner about this and she said it appeared the previous guests had been cooking Asian food. She did spray a lot of deodorizer but it appears the smell was still hanging around on your arrival. Again sorry Regards Glenn

Convenient and Comfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean, warm, well-equipped and convenient to the city centre. There was a fair amount of traffic but this did not disrupt our relaxation and rest unduly. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

Good space for a family, close to town. Communication from manager/owner was great. Photo of the river access a bit misleading as it is across a busy road (to be fair, listing does only say its a view) but still a nice property. Would stay again 😊

This is a great property. Spacious and relaxing. This was our second stay and we're hoping to make it an annual event. Glen is a great comminicator which always makes the experience pleasant.

A great family break in Taupo

We’ve stayed in several holiday rental properties over the years and this would be one of our favorites. Great for our family of five, convenient to Taupo township and felt likes home away from home. Would love to rebook this property.
