Summary:
This cute little holiday home is your classic Kiwi Bach, sure to evoke memories of your childhood holidays. It is walking distance to a superette, shops, cafes and restaurants. Its only a couple of blocks from the town centre or the lake making this the ideal base for you as you enjoy all that Taupo has to offer.

The Space:
This older house has three bedrooms to fit six guests. Off the lounge are two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed. The third room is at the rear of the house. This has a king-single bed with a single trundler under it.

The old-style kitchen and laundry will remind you of the holidays of your youth. The bathroom has shower. The heat pump in the lounge will keep the whole house warm in the winter and cool in the summer. There is another heater in the rear bedroom to keep that space toasty.

There is outdoor space at the back for kids to play and a lockable shed to store bikes or anything else you might need to keep secure. There is off-street parking beside the house and, in the front of the house is a lovely deck where you can enjoy morning coffee or an afternoon drink after all your activities in Taupō.

The Neighborhood:
The lake is an easy five-minute walk down the road. The house neighbours a Foursquare Superette and a café. A block away is The Brantry, a local fine dining restaurant. The house is within walking distance to several more restaurants and on Sunday, you’re merely blocks away from the weekly craft market.

If you are coming to one of Taupō’s sporting events, this house is in the perfect location as the racecourse of most big events (Ironman, Taupo Marathon, and Cycle Challenge) is only 200m from the property, so your supporters can easily take breaks while cheering you on. The Tongariro North Domain, where most races start and end, is only a quick drive away.

To take advantage of the promotion please check with us first to see if your dates qualify. You will need to book 2 nights and we will block the third consecutive night from the calendar for you to enjoy.

This listing advertises a ‘base’ cleaning fee, which accommodates 1-2 guests. Additional linen and resource is required for larger bookings, so an additional $10 per guest will apply for any bookings of more than 2 guests. We will charge the extra fee separately closer to your check-in date.

Please note the backyard has a marked off area that is not safe for children.

When booking, please advise how many beds you require, and we will prepare that quantity for you. A highchair and baby cot may be available. Please enquire (bedding for the cot is not provided). Breakfast items are not provided but there is plenty of tea, coffee, and basic cooking necessities such as salt, pepper, and oil.

For the sake of our neighbours, noise must be kept indoors and to a minimum after 10pm. There are strict no parties, smoking or pets rules in all Be My Guest properties.

The fireplace is not available to use.

If you are booking this property on a platform other than Airbnb, an authorisation hold is required. This hold will be captured as a ‘preauthorisation of funds’ from your payment card, prior to arrival and will be auto released 2 days from check-out, so long as no damage or costs have been incurred. The 'hold' for this property is $200.

All Be My Guest linen comes from our professional linen supplier. It is thermally disinfected at temperatures high enough to eliminate germs and risks such as Covid-19. In order to keep the linen costs for your stay economical, we do not provide face cloths.

Interaction with Guests:
We have a key box and will provide the pin number three days before your check-in date.
