The property is a new build & is nicely appointed. Everything is clean & orderly however, it lacks a few necessities that turns nice into comfortable.
There’s nothing nicer than after a long road trip to arrive at a property , check in and unpack a few on your items… unfortunately that’s not possible in this property.. the 2 bedrooms have a closet but no tall boy or drawers… similarly, the bathroom is nice… but there is not a single shelf to place your items… nothing in the shower… and the vanity is tiny so minimal can go on the sink… there is 1 drawer in the vanity, but that is where loo paper & hair dryer live… Again, a very nice property… but lacking a few things to make it great.
I have to say, really because of me being so lame, the property management team (Irish and others) were incredibly competent and communicated so well. It seems I left my brain at home for this holiday, because the simplest tasks, from check in to check out, were all really clearly laid out by the property managers, yet still, I needed to ask numerous questions. And the managers all showed incredible patience. The unit itself is nice, nothing super fancy, but fully functional, clean, new. Exactly what we needed with a full kitchen and comfy beds. The real star is Wanaka. We came to NZ from the US with a totally unplanned trip, someone told us about Wanaka, and we came and we are astounded. I have taken so many photos. Oh, and try the Indian restaurant in town. Great food!
