Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "Lighthouse Landing"! This home sleeps up to 4 adults and 1 child.

This wonderful downtown location puts you right in the middle of downtown Pacific Grove where you'll find restaurants, shops, galleries and destinations all within walking distance. Caledonia Park, the Natural History Museum, Lover's Point Beach and the Recreation Trail are all just a few blocks away. Nearby Monterey Peninsula attractions like the Monterey Bay Aquarium, numerous golf venues and charming coastal towns like Carmel-by-the-Sea and Monterey are an easy drive from your home base.

This one-level home is located in a residential/commercial duplex with a long-time dentist's office next door which keeps polite business hours. The tidy building is just steps away from all the conveniences and attractions of downtown Pacific Grove.

Living Space
Enter into the living room where comfortable seating awaits. The Smart TV is WiFi-enabled for streaming your favorite content. Guests should bring their own logins for their streaming subscriptions.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
Please be aware that there is no fenced yard at this home. Pacific Grove is a dog friendly town but dogs must be leashed when walking around town. The dog friendly beaches like Asilomar Beach and Carmel Beach are within a short drive and there are dog friendly trails in Pacific Grove and surrounding areas.

One off-street, dedicated parking space under a carport is provided. Parking is also available on the surrounding streets and guests should be aware of timing limitations on Lighthouse Avenue.

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was well cleaned. The appliances work great. Comfortable beds and enough soft towels for daily use. Sanctuary staff responded quickly and was good to work with when we messaged questions. The unit is well insulated and we did not hear noise from the next door dentist office. You might wish to bring a lightweight cotton blanket for the warmer months - we used their beach towels and they worked fine.

We came to Pacific Grove for a family vacation: two adults and one child. Our stay was so wonderful. Communication with Sanctuary Vacation was thorough and very positive. The house is very clean and cozy. It is in a wonderful location, walking distance to: restaurants, coffee shop, Lovers Point. We also took our bikes to Monterey Aquarium and it was a really easy ride. We have a large pickup truck and it fit just fine in the carport.If we can, we will be back again. Truly great.

Communication was excellent, super easy to check-in/out, the place was immaculate when we arrived. It was a comfortable and nice place to hang out and cook some dinners. However, it is also easily walkable to absolutely everything. I honestly cannot imagine a better place to stay in this are for two people and a dog. Hopefully we get to visit again.

The location is great. Near a cool book/coffee shop, the beach and restaurants…though a bit small for more than 4 and as another person states…the water does have a smell. The biggest issue was the lack of customer service. We were missing bedding for the fold our couch. The bag labeled as such contained two robes…one with a large black hair on it. When I called the host company it was 8pm and I got the run around. I was told they would make a ticket and mark it urgent. Given it was for a kid’s bed we were trying to put to sleep I asked for a time frame and couldn’t get one. I asked three different times for a call from management that I never got. The next day someone dropped off a fitted sheet and sheet (no comforter or pillow) and said they couldn’t do anything after 8pm. I was just glad it was sheets that were the problem. There is also a four page list of rules for the home. Lastly, you would want to check the hours of some of the nearby businesses if that’s a draw. For example, the ice cream shop next door is closed Mon and Tues. Overall though amazing location and non existent customer service. Would go elsewhere next time.
