House was clean with a fenced backyard, well equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, and thoughtful extra items (games, pack-n-play, dog biscuits, etc). Other than some excessive noise from the other vacation rental in the basement late one night, we had no issues with the accommodations or our stay and would stay again if needed.
House was clean and comfortable. Located on a busy street, lots of traffic noise. Had a few issue with getting things to work ( ice maker, Wi-Fi login, coffee maker, air conditioning). Host was responsive and polite, but did not seem to know answers to our questions.

Convenient location to UNC and a cozy space overall. However, the cleanliness did not meet expectations. As a pet-friendly property, there was a significant amount of pet hair throughout. When I raised this with the host, I was told the space had been mopped the week prior, but my concerns were dismissed. Additionally, I had a safety concern regarding the installation of a temporary air conditioner, which the host was unwilling to address.

Hi Jenny, thanks for sharing your feedback. We're glad to hear you found the space cozy and appreciated the convenient location near UNC. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your review, and we wanted to share the following:- The A/C unit is not temporary but a newly installed, permanent window unit that is securely fitted and locked into place. The homeowner confirmed there are no safety concerns related to its installation.- This is a pet-friendly property, and while the home is thoroughly cleaned before each guest’s arrival, the owner will revisit their cleaning process with the team to ensure pet hair is being properly addressed moving forward. Thanks again for taking the time to leave your review.

Nice property just didn’t work great for what we needed.
The property was good, just with 1 portable AC unit it was not enough. We were in town for a wedding and had the dogs and the house was too hot for them. The back patio was a nice space but the furniture was dirty. The house was also not 100% clean when we arrived. The house was nice though, looked like it was recently renovated! I also had trouble getting through to someone to ask about the situation with the basement tenant before the cancellation window. If I had know that it was a shared entrance I may have wanted to make other arrangements especially with the dogs. Peter was our assigned property contact though and he was terrific!

Hi Bailee, we’re so glad you found the house nicely renovated, enjoyed the back patio space, and had a great experience with Peter. We’re sorry you experienced some issues during your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following:- The A/C situation has now been corrected within the property, and the homeowner has upgraded and replaced units to better cool the home for future guests and their pets.- We’re working closely with the cleaning team to ensure the home and outdoor furniture are 100% guest-ready before every stay.- The basement is owner-occupied but does not share any space or amenities with guests, and there is a separate entrance. We plan to clarify this more clearly in the listing so guests can book with confidence. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts. We hope the wedding went wonderfully and appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!
My first and overall impression was the place was not clean. The fridge had food and had not even been wiped down, bathroom floor was grimy, outside area had dirty cushions and furniture and there were dead bugs on windowsills and in corners. For a dog friendly place the fence had 2 areas that were broken that our dogs could easily escape from. The " team" refused to fix them and left the back gate open twice. No closet in the master bedroom to use, you were expected to go into the 2nd bedroom to retrieve clothes, even hooks on the wall would have helped. No can opener provided, I asked but never got one. The bedroom door wouldn't stay shut and just drifted open, they gave me a rubber door stop fot it. 2 towels and 1 washcloth left for 3 people- they did tell us to look in a small closet in hall to find more. Plus we shared a common entrance ad our hist stayed in the basement! I was unaware he would be sharing w us...Ive stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this was NOT what I expected. I was told "Ma'am its not gonna be perfect. Well, for over 1300 for 4 nights it SHOULD BE CLEAN!

Great potential, but not there yet
We chose this property because the price and location were good for our week in Greeley watching a college softball tournament at UNC. It does have potential to be a great little rental, but we found the experience lacking in a few areas. On the positive side, it's an older house that has had a renovation on the main level. The renovation is simple, but nicely done. And the house is perfectly comfortable. It's near busy roads, but was quiet at night. And it is right next to UNC which was great for us.There were a couple downsides, however. The lockbox code didn't work when we got there and the local contact person was unresponsive. We solved it by contacting the management company, Evolve. Hours later we finally heard from the local contact person. Not very helpful. When we got inside, we discovered it wasn't really ready. Laundry was in the dryer, shampoo/soap wasn't restocked, coffee canister was near empty, no kitchen clothes/towels, and no storage containers or wrap in the kitchen. The back patio area was so dirty we couldn't use it. We also discovered the wifi code didn't work. The local contact never responded to our message about it so we didn't bother asking her about the rest. Our ratings of this property largely reflect the lacking management, not the unit itself. We frequently rent vacation properties and can see this place has some potential, but the management needs to improve to earn higher marks.
