Super cute place

Great location! The home had a lot of natural light and we enjoyed spending time in the living area and lounging on the deck. Was a perfect place for our short vacation!

Great little bungalow!

Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this cute cottage. The house was extremely well kept and all beds were comfortable! It was located in a quiet neighborhood, close to the beach. We enjoyed riding bikes and exploring the island. Thanks for a great stay!

Cute place in great spot!

My family of four really enjoyed our stay. My teen boys loved being able to walk to fishing spots on the intercostal waterway. We took a day trip to Bald Head Island, and there were great food options nearby. The bikes provided were a bonus.

Quiet and relaxed neighborhood

We enjoyed this clean, small home. It had everything we needed for the 3 of us. There was plenty of parking and the backyard was nice, the hammock was a great touch. The area is very quiet and feels very safe with families riding bikes. Short distance to the beach and even shorter to the waterway. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice weekend away!

Cute place for a family of four. It can be hard to find beach rentals when you don’t need a huge place. This rental is great for a small family. My teens loved that they could walk to fish on the intercoastal waterway. Beach is close and plenty of good places to eat nearby as well. Nice backyard set up too.

Great mini getaway! This cozy two bedroom was perfect for my husband and I to visit Oak Island. There are two bikes provided that made the 1/2 mile to beach and Publix easy. We loved sitting on the back porch for morning coffee. Everything is updated. Kitchen is well appointed with had everything we needed including a spice rack. All the appliances were high end. We loved the check ins from the owner. Quick response to questions we had.

We were really looking forward to this trip, but were disappointed. The outdoor trash from previous guests, including seafood, sat for days and made the whole property smell. Management did very little to help. We also saw a few cockroaches inside, and the furniture cover was so dirty we had to cover it ourselves. Unfortunately, it just didn’t feel clean or well cared for, which was a letdown for our family.

We’re very sorry to hear that your family’s stay didn’t meet expectations. We put a lot of time, care, and resources into making sure the home is ready for guests, as my own family also enjoys staying here. In fact, every other review we’ve received has been 5 stars, with many guests specifically complimenting the cleanliness of the property. After reviewing your feedback, I’d like to share the following:-The property has weekly trash pickup through a rollout service, but during very hot weather, outdoor bins can develop odors. As soon as I was notified, I arranged for someone to move the trash can away from the house the same day.-The home is on a regular pest control schedule and was treated right before your arrival, so it’s surprising to hear about cockroaches. This is not something previous guests have reported, but I’ll follow up with the pest control company to be sure.-I’ve purchased and installed a new cover for the couch to ensure it’s fresh and clean for future guests.While there are aspects of your review I see differently, I truly regret that your experience fell short of 5 stars, and I’ll use your feedback to keep improving for future stays.
