This is in a prime location. You cannot get any closer to the Village of Bar Harbor as well as access to Acadia.

Picture yourself waking up early in the morning to drive up to Cadillac Mountain and be one of the first to see sunrise in America-then spend the rest of your day in Sand Beach, Jordan Pond, hike Ocean path etc.

At the end of the day- you go home- leave your car in the house and walk through town, have ice cream, have a nice afternoon or sunset stroll along the waterfront or shore path and enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants in the Village- or opt for take out and enjoy your meal while at Agamont Park and enjoy the amazing views of the Waterfront.

The Hulls Cove Visitor Center of Acadia National Park is only 2.5 miles or 6 mins drive from the house. Access to Eagle Lake through the carriage roads is a mere 2-3 minutes ride.

The property has parking for 2 vehicles, depending on the vehicle size. This is a huge convenience when parking is very limited during peak tourist months and since the town had instituted parking regulations/ restrictions and parking meters

Great Bar Harbor location!
Beautiful home located within easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor! Owner provided great recommendations for local restaurants that were open during the off season. Easy drive to the hiking trails in Acadia. High recommend stopping at the Chamber of Commerce to talk to a park ranger for trail suggestions during the off season. Would not hesitate to stay at this rental again.

Perfect for us!
This house was perfect for our family of four and two sets of grandparents stay at Bar Harbor. It was clean and perfectly located just enough room to relax after an adventurous day not too far of a walk from great restaurants this house had every detail covered.

Nice house, great location
Nicely renovated old house. A great location walking distance to town and close to Acadia National Park. We had a bunch of teens in our group and they appreciated the freedom of a quick walk into town. We appreciated being able to get to Acadia quickly for hiking. Shared bathroom upstairs. Downstairs one bathroom is accessible through the master bedroom. Washer/dryer in this bathroom.

Host profile image
We moved to Maine in 2005 and have fallen in love with this beautiful State. From the crisp clean air, crystal clear lakes, majestic mountains, bold coast. We love being so close to Acadia National Park. We enjoy the outdoors and love to fish, hike, & eat good food.

Not our primary profession but we have a passion for hosting. Mercedes is the “interior designer”. Robard is the “layout artist”. We work as one along with our cleaning crew, carpenters, plumbers, and electrician to provide beautiful & comfortable places to delight our guests!

All our properties are thoughtfully designed with guests’ comfort in mind.

We are always all ears from our guests for recommendations, as that’s how we grow to provide quality accommodations.

May all our guests enjoy their stay and create wonderful memories!

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because of its location, being in a quite dead end street but just a few blocks from the bicycle shop, restaurants, and stores. The house was old and we renovated the whole place (inside and out) to accommodate the needs of vacationing guests.
We came to know our neighbors who are year round residents who are very pleasant. This is a plus as we do not have to worry about partying or loud neighbors.

What makes this property unique

We like this house because we were able to create our personal touches.
