Reserve Ecologica National (protected nature reserve)So very quietly situated in a valley surrounded by nature.The longest hiking trail in the Algarve (Via Algarvia) runs right through the domain of Vale Vinagre. This is 286 km long and runs from Spain to the western tip of the Algarve (Sagres).There is also a large lake at 5 km (drinking water reservoir where you can kayak, swim and make beautiful walks, another unknown pearl of the Algarve at 15 minutes from the sea. Here you will find yourself in the still authentic Algarve where restaurants are clearly cheaper than on the tourist beaches.
