Retro touches, including board-and-batten wood ceilings in the great room, and even a turntable with records, pair with modern updates, including a hot tub under a covered patio. It’s an easy stroll down quiet streets to the beach and the looming beauty of Neakahnie Mountain.

Stretch out on the blue sectional in the living room or dine in the sweet nook beside the fully equipped galley kitchen. A serene queen bedroom and a bedroom with three twin beds make this a great home for a family. The deck sports a dining table and barbecue for outdoor dining before a soak in the hot tub.

Manzanita’s delights are minutes away: Laneda Street’s shops, dining, wine bar and spa are worth a visit, and you can find groceries and other necessities in town. Hop in the car to explore the rest of the North Coast, from secluded beaches below forested headlands to enticing shopping and dining in Cannon Beach, Seaside, and Astoria. Neakahnie Cottage will welcome you back in the evenings to catch the sunset at the beach, then rest and refresh for another day of coastal fun!

We loved our stay here so much! It was perfect for our family of 5 - the kitchen was well stocked (we cooked up the salmon we caught) and enjoyed the hot tub. The whole place was cozy and clean. We will treasure memories of family game nights; dinner on the patio, beach walks and the wild blackberries all along the road. Highly recommend staying here and enjoyed this delightful town.

Lovely ladies trip for a friends birthday walking distance from the beach was wonderful. The patio, hot tub, cozy couch and space was perfect for our group of 4. The coffee grinder was sadly broken and the first aid kit was empty, but other than that it was absolutely perfect!

Location was great, loved the beautiful quiet neighborhood, the beach was just down street. The house was dated and the kitchen supplies were a bit lacking (basic spices, condiments, etc.) The carpet in the living room had a bit of a smell… but to be fair, we were looking for a pet friendly home because we were traveling with a dog so perhaps this was to be expected? That being said, we did feel comfortable in the space with three kids and a dog, and the location was great.
