We had an absolute amazing time for our family at this beautiful property on a private lake, great views and next-door to Peggy Cove Nova Scotia. Murry, our host who happens to own the best food stand and ice cream parlor in the area (which is also just down the road) was so friendly and accommodating. The completely private home itself sits on a hill and provides views of the North Atlantic as well as the amazing unspoiled Nova Scotian landscape. Just perfect for our lively group. Oh, and one more thing, Murray arranged take part of our family out ocean fishing on a working fishing boat giving them an experience they’ll never forget. Thanks, Murry . We’ll see you next year!.

The pictures for this wonderful house on Long Lake in West Dover, Nova Scotia, do not do the house and its setting justice. When you are staying at Murray’s very large and well-equipped home, you will be enjoying what appears to be your own private lake with its own dock and float, surrounded by the most exquisite wild and rocky landscape. You can sit on the porch all day, watching the birds come to bathe, the play of light and wind on the water, the gorgeous rocks and vegetation, and most of all the quiet.

A beautiful location for a group vacation! Everything you need for cooking, serving, eating, and drinking can be found in the spacious kitchen. Kayaks, a dock, a huge floatie are all available for days on the water right on the property. Lots of outdoor seating with beautiful views made for a lot of good hanging out times, too. Highly recommend this place!!!!
