Right after you close the big entrance gate behind you, you feel like being in 'the garden' of the cities!

We agreed with our sweet neighbours that from 23.00 we have to reduce the noises . You can play music inside just keep doors and windows close please
The wellness area is a silent area(no music at all and softly speaking please).After 22.00 outside has to be quiet and after 23.00 silent .

Great place for a short getaway with family and friends

We had a great weekend at Nicolette's place! It is really bohemian. The house has everything you need with a very well equipped kitchen. The jacuzzi and sauna are great for a wellness afternoon just relaxing. The house is quite close to the N-road but this is not busy in the weekend. The only improvement point we found was the outside area, the couches are a little outdated and could benefit from an upgrade to really have a nice area to enjoy drinks/dinner and sit by the fire with the group.

great holiday residence perfect for families

We were there as a family of 9 inclunding 2 very young kids for a whole week and were very happy with our stay. Even though the weather was terrible, the residence offered enough alternatives for exapmle in the wellness area including a sauna and a whirlpool. The house, as well as the outside area, are nothing short of gorgeous with an open and friendly ambience. The host was also very friendly and forthcoming.

Prachtige accomodatie

In de meivakantie verbleef ons gezin in deze prachtige authentieke woonboerderij. Vanuit hier verkenden we de dorpjes langs de Vecht en de Utrechtse binnenstad. Maar op de regenachtige dagen zaten we heerlijk binnen in de gezellige woonkeuken. De kinderen vermaakten zich in het overdekte buitenverblijf, op de trampoline of tussen de bubbels in de hottub. Daarbij voelden we ons erg welkom door de gastvrijheid van Nicolette en haar buurvrouw Simone.

My kids en myself live here since 2016, next to one of our best friends Simone. We bought the terrain together and it was the best thing we could do! I am a serial entrepreneur and like it very much to share our fantastic place with other people. It is just too special to keep to our self. Furthermore it helps me to keep the property in good condition as it seems more easy to make extra effort for other people then for just myself ;-)

Why they chose this property

Simone and me wanted to live together on a terrain, but not in the same house, We wanted to buy this property as it is perfect for sharing it with others and bringing people together. Our house is cosy but old. For example the sanitary is out dated, but clean. The doors are more then 140 years af age, ( some of them really low) but they close.

What makes this property unique

The Hay Barn were you can be outside even when it rains. The huge meadow. I just love the authenticity of the house ;-)
