Belle découverte de l'île d'Oléron

Séjour réussi pour une première découverte de l'île d'Oléron. Le logement est conforme à sa description, très bien situé avec un accès rapide à la plage (plage idéale pour de jeunes enfants) et une position assez centrale permettant de rejoindre rapidement en vélo ou en voiture (pas de bouchons sur nos 15 jours de juillet) les autres plages ou sites touristiques de l'île. La maison a une terrasse totalement couverte et bien orientée ce qui permet de vivre dehors même avec du vent ou un fort soleil. Les contacts avec les gérants ont été faciles et efficaces pendant toute la durée du séjour. Un seul petit point de vigilance, l'escalier menant à l'étage est très raide.

Kurze und schmale Betten / weiche Matratzen

Wir waren glücklicherweise nur zu dritt, daher waren wir bei der Bettenauswahl flexibel. Im Obergeschoss sind die beiden Schlafräume nur durch einen Vorhang getrennt, d.h., Intimität gleich Null. Das Doppelbett ist nur 1,40m breit, die Matratze ist zehn Zentimeter zu kurz, man darf also nicht größer als 1,75m und kein Bauchschläfer sein, sonst hängen die Füße raus. Die Matratzen der beiden Einzelbetten sind so weich, dass man besser nicht mehr als zwanzig Kilogramm wiegt, um keine bleibenden Wirbelsäulenschäden davonzutragen. Abgesehen davon, war alles wunderbar und wie beschrieben.

Peaceful location for a short stay

The property is well equipped and well presented. The good washing machine was an excellent addition. We had some problems accessing the keys from the keysafe as the code sent to us did not work. After a phone call and a new code we managed to gain entry. It was initially a little stressful after a long journey. Some attention needs to be given to the shower drain hole as it is quite dirty. We would have appreciated a slightly bigger bed downstairs. Otherwise a very pleasant three days.
