Incredible experience!
This cabin has a picturesque view of the mountains, is impeccably clean, and has everything your family needs for a relaxing week in north Georgia! 8 minutes from downtown Helen, tons of hiking trails within 20 minutes, and nightly visits by friendly deer looking for deer corn. Best vacation my family has ever had, hands down!
Quiet lovely home. The loft was by far the best part for my family. Had a great time playing pool, watching movies and cooking dinners together. Close to Helen and lots of hiking! Great spot for a quiet family get away.
The location of the property and the amazing view of the mountains made the experience wonderful.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Nice house that needs a lot of care.
The house itself is beautiful as are its views. The location is excellent if you want to go to Helen but be away from traffic and have peace and quiet. The playground is great for keeping the kids entertained. The problem is that we were one day without water and we were given no solution other than to wait for the service to be reestablished with everything that entails being without water... In addition, it needs a good deep cleaning and some updates.
Great location a few minutes out of town, open space and wonderful views. We found every amenity we needed, indoors and out, at this completely appointed home. Plus we enjoyed very good German food at pet-friendly patio, Hofbrauhaus, in Helen, GA.
We loved our stay in this cabin. It was quite and peaceful and the view was AMAZING. We saw wildlife daily. Cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Property management company responded quickly to any questions we had. Beds were comfy. We are so happy we chose this cabin and will definitely stay here again.

Charming cabin!
The location was perfect for visiting the Unicoi/Helen area. The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The highlight of staying here was enjoying the wildlife who came to visit each day on the lawn: a doe and her two babies, many birds, squirrels, rabbits, etc. We enjoyed hiking in the area and restaurants in Helen. We hope to come again!

Family friendly cabin
We enjoyed our stay with our family for a long weekend. The cabin was beautiful and wonderful porch with a nice view. The beds definitely need updating or toppers on them. The comforters need replacing and more blankets or throws would be nice in the home. The bathrooms had all the essentials.
We loved our stay very much. The only cons I would point out is that the floors were dirty and the bathrooms were dirty. I travel with Clorox wipes, so was able to clean the bathrooms. The rest of the cabin was lovely and we enjoyed the beautiful view. The kitchen is well stocked with items for cooking simple meals.

Amazing View
The view from the cabin is amazing! The cabin was clean. House keeping did stock the cabin with extra household items that are needed for your stay. The cabin was stock with all the items needed to cook. All you needed was your food and spices. We really enjoyed all the outside space especially in the evenings by the fire pit. We couldn't of ask for a better cabin.

Review of moonlight summit
Was not happy in the cleanliness of the home, Had multiple things that were very obvious that should have been taking care of. The view however was spectacular.
Overall nice cabin and we had a good time but I have to call out a few things. 1. It is ABSOLUTELY NOT SECLUDED, you have neighbors all around you. They’re close but separated from you by foliage. 2. We are veteran vacation renters. We’ve been renting cabins and homes for 25 years. This is the first time I’ve encountered a cabin that restricts the thermostat. Yes folks, it’s password locked out and you can’t run the heat higher than 70 degrees. When we arrived it had been raining hard and it was in the upper 40’s. We would have loved to kick the heat on to dry the space out a bit. But alas, nope. 3. The beds are hard, the sheets polyester and all the beds have a PLASTC BED SHEET under the bedding and liner, why is this a problem? Well… it’s super hot and every time you love it sounds like you’re rolling a top a garbage bag. The above are the reasons for the lower rating. The cabin is inside of a community with easy access. Paved nicely all the way. It’s convenient to Helen and the surrounding awesome nature options! Overall we had a nice stay but I’d love to see these issues mentioned above fixed. Though we loved the property, for those same reason, we’ll stay elsewhere next time.
