This is a lovely unit, perfect for 2. Comfy queen bed, open floor plan, everything you need in the kitchen for 2 days or 2 weeks!Beautiful rural setting handy to lots of Central PA sites! I look forward to staying again.

Beautiful setting in a basement studio with a very private entrance. Our only visitors were the three very friendly dogs who greeted us coming and going. About 30 minutes to downtown State College. Quiet, rural, peaceful and convenient to places we wanted to visit.

All I can say is wow. I’m so happy that I booked this place. It’s a beautiful relaxing setting that was perfect for us. Our views were beautiful landscapes , but we were only 20 minutes away from Penn State. Way better than a hotel, and way cheaper! Thanks to the hosts who provided such an awesome stay.

REALLY Beautiful & such thoughtful hosts, But...

The accommodation were beautiful, clean and comfortable! With a Gorgeous view! A bottle of wine & cookies! Very sweet gift! But this rental is definitely not for everyone. It really depends on what you are getting away for and with whom... My husband and I booked our stay for my Birthday weekend. We hoped to have some much needed time away with privacy for a ROMANTIC weekend (wink, wink) ;);). This was not the privacy we hoped for... Since the property owners are upstairs and on site if felt as though we were intruding on their personal space and vice versa. We could clearly hear talking above us (mainly the children) as well as running and footsteps making it feel as though we had to whisper so that we were not heard by the owners. If we could hear them that well than they must be able to hear us just as well... So needless to say the romance was something that we had to muffle the best we could and even then we felt very awkward and intrusive especially to the impressionable young ears above us... We booked this location for 2 nights and we ended up driving 3.5 hours home after the first night. We did spent the day at Penn's Cave and Wildlife Park but went home after that because it really just wasn't the privacy we hoped for. So unfortunately we lost money by choice in that case, BUT Everything else was perfect and it would be the best get away for a girls weekend or something like that. Just not the place to let your inhibitions fly with your partner if you are looking to do that. But honestly couldn't ask for a more beautiful and clean and well equipped place to stay. This was just not for us solely for personal reasons.
