This property was able to comfortably accommodate my large family, and we had a great time staying in such a historic home. Also, it was walking distance to many local attractions.
We held a weekend family reunion with ten people. The place is spacious. The pool was a lovely way to end to our days sightseeing. This house is within walking distance of the Riverwalk and Alamo. We ate at some great restaurants within the neighborhood. Our friendly host was super responsive to our questions and concerns.

I'm so glad that you and all of your family had a great time !
If you want to relive the past, this house is for you. Brought back memories from my childhood. The one thing I would change is more comfortable furniture in the living room.
We enjoyed the pool. Nice and warm. Kitchen well stocked with necessities. Needed to bring kitchen hand towels there were none. Great location and the host was very accommodating Overall it was a great place to stay.
An old home with antique furniture. Very nice size kitchen and dining room. The pool is small and can be heated for 25/day additional charge on top of the 1250/day charge. The fees, etc, are 2/3 the listed rental charge, which I find excessive. But the location is convenient to many restaurants and hemisphere area. We enjoyed our visit.
The A/C went out at the house the door before we were suppose to arrive. Owner called me and let me know and moved us to another location that would fit our group. Luckily it was still close by and the house was beautiful. Grateful they took the time to find us another place and didn’t just cancel us because most places were already booked up.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. We always do our best to take care of our guests, so we were happy to give you this free upgrade to the Oge House so that your trip could proceed as planned. I hope you'll come stay with us again in the future.
Thanks, Don
Loved walking to both river walk and market from this house. Owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Property was just as described, beautiful old furniture and art.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Jackson House. The location was perfect for our group of two families with small children--close enough to walk to the Riverwalk yet far enough away to avoid the crowds. The King Williams neighborhood is just lovely with plenty of dining options nearby. The home's updates are era-appropriate and you can tell that it was an absolute gem in its heyday. A few notes for future travelers: one trash bag and dishwasher pod are provided as starters so bring extra if you plan on staying any more than a couple of days. While washer and dryer are listed as amenities, access is not typically available for STR stays. (We have little ones so it's always a factor in our bookings.)
This home was a fantastic find! The property is just as pictured. Very clean and spacious. It is a darling old victorian home. We loved the attention to detail the hosts kept keeping the old-world charm. We walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner and, in the morning, had coffee on the front porch after great morning walks in the lovely neighborhood. It brought back great memories. Don was very responsive and replied to my questions within minutes. I wholeheartedly recommend The Jackson House.
The location was perfect for our visit as we walked almost everywhere. In addition, renting the entire home gave everyone their own bedroom, bathroom, and parking. The only thing that I could say would be that it would have been nice to have the pool heated without the extra fee as we actually would have used it.

Nice property, but plumbing and pool equipment didn’t work. Customer service communication was a bit abrupt and coarse.
This was a beautiful house, would definitely stay again. There is so much history and character to this house and the surrounding area, which made it so much more interesting to stay in than a modern house. Everything was great with our stay; host was nice, location was great, house was beautiful, etc.
Everyone Loved Everything about our stay at this house. It was Perfect and we want to plan another stay at the Noble mansion next time. 😊
Thank you Don Noble.
