Great location - a lot of fun places to explore. The lake views were spectacular. Morning coffee on the sun porch in the morning was very peaceful. Fires at night and complimentary s’more making kit was a nice surprise

Thank you staying at our lakehouse - we welcome you to return in the future 🙏
Our stay at this beautiful lakefront cottage was amazing. The moment we opened the door, we were greeted with stunning lakefront views. The rather large well stocked kitchen made it very easy to cook and eat all our family meals. This cottage truly felt like home away from home. Highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to unwind and relax by the water right outside the back door!
I have stayed at many VRBO's and this by far, was the best one yet!! The communication was instant with the Host! The Host went over and beyond to make us comfortable with supplies in the home. The beds were so comfortable and the linens were superb!! They gave us plenty of towels too. So many places get stingy with the towels, and I could never figure out why. I can't say even about the beautiful view of the property, and it was such a nice quiet place. I wanted to live there!!!
We were in town to bury my mom and although the occasion was sad, we were able to see family and friends which made the trip happy too. The lakehouse was a perfect gathering place for us.
Great location for us with tremendous amenities. Very clean and the thoughtfulness of waters, a bottle of wine and s’mores supplies was awesome. I would defiantly recommend staying here.

Thank you Jason, you folks are certainly welcome back anytime !
Charming lake house. We came here to celebrate a 40th birthday. We enjoyed the yard and sitting by the lake. Short walk to the local pub was a plus. Small beach located two doors down. The property was exactly as described and we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!
Enjoyed every minute. Pretty spot on the water. Well-provisioned home in a friendly neighborhood. Owner was very communicative. We were especially lucky to be there over the 4th of July holiday, and the weather was great for swimming and kayaking.
We loved our stay at this lake house! So spacious, wonder views of the lake, and very peaceful. We didn’t get lucky with the weather, but the views and indoor porch made it special. Host was awesome, thank you for sharing your home!
We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. The house is well stocked and the lake is beautiful and peaceful. The kayaks ate a nice extra touch.
What a hidden gem. Wish we would’ve found this place 4 years earlier when our daughter started college. If we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely be staying!
Ideal location, Lovely setting with lake. Owners provided rafts, kayaks , even a fire pit for roasting marshmallows. We will come back and take advantage of all the above things. House had everything. We were busy enjoying the surrounding towns, National Comedy Center, Lily Dale experience for a day and even a trip to Canada- Niagara on the lake.

We enjoyed having you as guests at our lakehouse - please visit and stay with us again in the future !);-)
The perfect base of operations for our guys eclipse trip. We enjoyed the house and all amenities. We could tell the owner takes pride in teh house and puts in the extra effort to focus on the little things. The lake is so peaceful and the fire pit was extremely theraputic. Great memories. 5 stars.
The house was beautiful. Every window facing the back of the house is lake view. We sat and just watched the water and wildlife. A total home away from home but so much better. You go to sleep and hear the gentle laps of the water. There is also a large porch to sit and just enjoy. This is a place that you will always remember your stay.

Thank you for such a wonderful review ! Hope you can stay again !!
It was the perfect place for our family. The three bedrooms were very spacious. The open floor concept is perfect for entertaining and socializing. The backyard is shady and the lake is peaceful. For those with children, the park and public beach are two houses away. The park offers a basketball court and pickelball court, and the beach has an area for swimming that is supervised by lifeguards. All in all, we felt like we were staying at relative's house more than a rental.

Thank you so much Marissa, please come back anytime ! We’d love to have you folks again
It was our 30th wedding anniversary and the host left us a bottle of champagne and cheese and crackers at the house! What a lovely surprise! The house was exactly as pictured. It was nice sitting outside watching the ducks, geese and boats passing by as well as the sun reflecting off the water. We both used the kayaks that were at the house. It was our first time kayaking, and we enjoyed ourselves. We cooked out on the provided grill too. If you’re looking to get away from it all, this is a very relaxing place. Everything was provided.

This lakehouse has been in the family for 3 generations. Our father's aunt Margaret Green ( a local school teacher) lived in the garage when she bought the property and owned this property and the one nextdoor (along the breakwall) while her house was being built. She eventually sold the lot nextdoor. After she passed away, our father purchased the lakehouse for he and mom to spend their summers at so he could be near his brothers, Norm and Burt, and their families, who all loved to hunt and spend time together. Eventually our father and mom retired here and lived out the remainder of their lives here.
My sister and I would spend summers here as teenagers with our parents, until we each went our own directions. When Dad and Mom passed away, my sister and I inherited the lakehouse and we fixed it up a bit to its present condition and decided to allow others to stay and enjoy it as well. Last year was the first year for the lakehouse on VRBO, and we were overall very pleased with the quality of our renters and the VRBO program ! We are staying with the VRBO program this year and hope that others will be blessed with their time here as much as we are when we stay here with our families. It really is a very peaceful retreat, with alot of privacy - the neighbors have all lived here for many years and are friends of ours. It is a very small town and we think that you will find that the neighbors are very friendly and keep to themselves unless you choose to be sociable with them.
Our hope is that you leave here refreshed and with very fond memories. Enjoy !
Blessings to you,
Douglas (Big brother) and Trish (Little sister)
Why they chose this property
The lakehouse is handicap accessible, requiring no steps from the driveway entrance and throughtout the house with a big and open single floor plan. Accessibility to the outdoor wrap around deck (lakefront and side of the house) is from the living room sliding glass doors with no step. The only steps inside the house is for the sunporch, which is accessible by 3 steps down with the aid of a railing.
What makes this property unique
Only one of two properties on the lake with such a large breakwall and elevated property, for optimal viewing. Located next to the park, and uptown is a short walk. Best view of the entire lake and sunsets.
