We enjoyed this home. The kitchen was well equipped and the game/movie room was tons of fun for us. The only thing that we expected was to play basketball (which is shown in the pictures). It looks like there’s renovations being done near or on the property. Overall, I would recommend this house. It’s spacious and well maintained.

It was a good stay for me and friends. The bad experiences of had with this home was that I couldn’t get in contact with the home owner. Had to call Vrbo to get the pin to enter the house. The whole house had dog hair all over it. Found dry dog poop in the basement where the movie area is. Other than that is was good.

The house itself was as described. But the appearance was marred by large construction machines parked in the backyard. The owner/mgmt company did not let us know and photos didn't show it. What an eyesore! And the coffeemaker didn't work. Bring pots and kitchenware-we ended up buying the kitchen towels. The management company responded quickly until the booking/payment was made and then we didn't hear back. It would be a zero rating except the house itself was great!!

This property was perfect for a weekend getaway for a large friend group. Plenty of beds for everyone and community spaces made being together quite easy. Only complaints were with some of the appliances that made cooking more challenging, but in the grand scheme of things don't influence my rating of the property.

We had a fantastic stay in Glen Wild!! The house has everything you need and it was all clean and tidy. We were a big group (8 adults, 2 children) and needed to run to the shop for a few extra items during our stay, otherwise everything else was provided. We'd love to come back!

The home was beautiful to begin with. But There was a few hiccups, air hockey machine didn’t work, there was food left over in the oven, I wanted to make the host aware about railing and basketball court but During my stay the host wasn’t responsive. I also inquired about a late checkout and no response. Other than that the house was great, it was a great house to spend with family during Thanksgiving. I do recommend communicate everything with your host before your stay because she responds before but not during at least my experience. Overall I do recommend because we had an amazing time as a family.

In this case, we were unable to accommodate a late check-out due to scheduled cleaning and arriving guests, which we communicated at the time. We also confirmed that the railing you asked about was scheduled to be addressed .We understand how important amenities and overall cleanliness are to a stay. Any concerns regarding items such as the air hockey table or the oven were not brought to our attention during the visit, and we are always happy to address issues promptly when notified. The house was very nice, for the most part clean, minus dirty counters when we arrived. hair on the wall above the big tub upstairs and the cabinets were a little dirty (old rotting garlic bulb, wrappers and pieces of plastic in the lower cabinets.The kitchen is definitely not "full service". There was not even a pot to boil water for pasta, just a few frying pan/wok type pans, one of which had all the Teflon flaking off so we did not use it. There were only four coffee mugs for a house that sleeps almost 16 people. and no where near enough silverware. We had to go to the dollar store to buy plastic utensils, hot cups and baking tins since there were no baking trays/dishes.Air hockey table did not work which was a huge disappointment and the "gym" room left a lot to be desired, very old equipment we were afraid would break. No brooms to clean up after ourselves and no dishwasher tablets, we had to go to the dollar general for that as well. Movie room was a nice addition for the kids but unless you brought games yourself or toys to entertain the kids, not a whole lot for children to do. Maybe better in the summer when pool and basketball court is usable. Just okay visit, would not rent here again though.

We're glad you thought the house was very nice and that the movie room was fun for the kids. After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following: - We have a max occupancy of 13 guests, and it appears that 16 people were brought to the property, which puts extra strain on the home and its amenities. - The home was clean before arrival, but after checkout, we did find burn marks on the countertops, a burnt and dirty oven, and standing water left inside. We do not store garlic in the cabinets, so it was likely left by a previous guest, though our cleaning team works to catch items like that. - The kitchen has basic cookware, including a pot for boiling water, and the pots and pans are new and should not have flaking surfaces. About 12 coffee mugs are available for guest use. Brooms and dishwasher tablets are normally stocked for guests. - The air hockey table was not working during your stay, and we plan to replace it. Thank you for letting us know about your visit.

I want to start by saying I understand that unexpected issues can happen that are out of our control. However, when someone is aware of a problem and does not inform their guests in advance, that is extremely upsetting.I planned a birthday getaway for two family members, and unfortunately, our experience upon arrival was very disappointing.1st, there was active construction taking place right next to the property, which was not mentioned anywhere in the listing.2nd, the house was freezing cold — it felt as cold as standing outside.Most importantly, there was no running water due to a broken boiler. While we were inside the home, the workers who were attempting to fix the boiler informed us of the situation. I overheard the conversation between the host and the workers, and it was clear the host had been aware of the issue for some time.We arrived a little after check-in time after driving two hours, only to be told, “I’m sorry, we’ll try to figure something out.” This was incredibly frustrating, especially considering this was meant to be a birthday celebration.I truly appreciate the assistance from Vrbo in helping us secure alternative accommodations. Vrbo ensured my family had somewhere to stay, and Best Western Monticello was able to accommodate us. While it wasn’t our original plan, we made the best of it.The house itself is large and spacious, and it would likely be a great property for big groups — but at the time of our arrival, it was not in livable condition.

We were not aware of the broken boiler until that morning when we arrived at the property. We don't know what happened to it, but we contacted maintenance immediately to see if it could be repaired before your arrival. We advised you that the boiler was going to be fixed, and we have the fireplace, but that we were going to contact Evolve and see if they could find alternative accommodations so that you would not be inconvenienced. We also do not allow parties at the property, and we were surprised you were expecting more people than what you had booked.

Had an issue with the Internet when we arrived. The maintenance people cut the cable coming into the house when they were cutting the grass. It was hard to work while I was there as I expected to have Internet access. Eventually it was fixed but it took a few days. Aside from this the house was pleasant and the kids loved the pool and basketball court.
