About this property

Very private and peaceful Arbutus cottage in Yellow Point.

Spacious modern cottage with full kitchen, loft bedroom. Located in a rural area in Yellow Point, between Nanaimo (20 km north) and Ladysmith (17 km south). Very private and quiet with own driveway and parking. The cottage backs onto a 350 acre ecological reserve. Perfect for a peaceful retreat.

Only 1 km from Roberts Memorial Park and Blue Heron Park (both on the water) and Yellow Point park is only 4 km away.

We include coffee and tea and the ingredients for a free breakfast (eggs, jam, etc) from our hobby farm.

Over 300 books (including collection of Reader's Digest and National Geographic). Lots of old fashioned board games and various types of puzzles.
Telescope for star gazing.

EV charging station (free).
We speak English and French.

Note: We do not allow guests who smoke (no exceptions).

Absolutely what we were looking for. Tranquility and off the beaten track. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the host was exceptional. Happy to accommodate us when needed but the cottage was comfortable, cozy and well stocked. Absolutely a place we would come back to.
