Sunset Deck - Stay 5 Nights PAY 4 - Jan 1-22
Enjoy the sunsets from this wonderful elevated deck.
Downstairs there is a lounge area set up entirely for childrens entertainmen with numerous board games to entertain the family should the weather turn a little chilly. Electric heating is provided for this area.
On this level there is one bedroom with a queen bed, and a laundry doubles as a bathroom with a shower recess, washing machine and separate toilet.
A timber staircase takes you upstairs to the main living area of the house. The kitchen, living and dining areas are combined. The kitchen is very smart with electric cooking, a microwave and a family size fridge. The kitchen overlooks the lounge area, which is furnished with comfy leather furniture. There is a plasma TV, DVD player and stereo system able to connect to an iPod/mp3 player. The views of the sunset from this room are spectacular. The dining setting suits four but four folding chairs are also available for additional seating. This area is heated and cooled with a reverse cycle system.
The master bedroom is large and opens onto a deck that surrounds three sides of the house. The bed is Queen size and there is ample wardrobe space in the built in robe. The third bedroom has a set of bunks, a single bed and a trundle bed, this room sleeping 3 to 4.
BYO Linen:
Bedding is provided but guests must bring their own linen and towels.
The upstairs bathroom has a shower over a full size bath, a toilet and vanity.
There is a hooded gas BBQ on the decked area. The house is surrounded by lawns and a high fence making it ideal for outside entertaining, sun baking, or safely containing your dog in this pet friendly property.

Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
While the property is fully furnished and well equipped, it may not have all appliances and equipment you may be used to using. We apologise if this causes inconvenience.
- Guest Access
You have use of the entire house and yard. Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys.
- Neighbourhood
Situated approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne and approximately 40 mins to Wilsons Promontory.
The property is located close to the main beach for swimming, surfing and fishing. Waratah Bay Surf Lifesaving Club patrols the beach over summer; they also have a bar, occasional meals and events.
Launch your boat at Shallow Inlet, just a short 5 minute drive. It's famous for wind surfing, kite surfing and fishing.
The Sandy Point General store is the hub for groceries, bait, petrol, gas, bottle shop and an Australia Post outlet.
A small Mini golf course is located next to our office on Beach Parade (seasonal).
Playgrounds, Tennis courts (equipment can be hired from the General Store), Half basketball court & public bbq areas are located next to the Sandy Point Community Centre.
The Sandy Point Community Centre hosts art festivals, markets & other events over summer.
Sandy Point is a great base for exploring the local region. With Wilsons Promontory a short drive away, you can enjoy a range of short and long hikes that include breath taking beaches, rivers and wildlife encounters.
The historic towns of Fish Creek, Walkerville, Foster, Toora and Meeniyan are an easy drive away, offering outstanding local produce, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and wineries.
Also in easy reach is the historic Cape Liptrap Lighthouse and Walkerville Lime Kilns at the famous Magic Beach, Walkerville South.
The Great Southern Rail Trail (131kms) runs from Nyora to Yarram and can be accessed at Fish Creek, it's ideal for biking or walking.
- Getting Around
Sandy Point is a lovely Village to stroll around, however getting beyond this you will need your own car.
- Other things to note
Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.
