About this property
The Palm Tree Loft, close to shops and lake
The Palm Tree Loft, a private, self-contained top-level open plan retreat in Green Point. Lake is at road end, 5 mins drive to Erina Fair, 2 mins drive to Green Point shops and Six Strings Brewery, 12 mins drive to Avoca, Terrigal & Copacabana beaches. Enjoy lake glimpses from the balcony, queen bed ( + pull-out couch for a 3rd and 4th person) bath w 2 sinks, kitchenette, Weber BBQ w side burner, Nespresso, TV, air-con & fans.
Note: this is a self-contained unit on the top level of our house
The space
The Palm Loft is a light-filled, open plan space ideal for couples or small families. The main room features a comfortable queen bed and two pull-out single couches for extra guests or children. The large, lockable bathroom includes a double-size bath and his and hers vanity sinks, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Next to the bathroom is a designated makeup station complete with lighting and jewellery cupboards.
A well-equipped kitchenette provides everything for simple meals, including a fridge, microwave, toaster, multi cooker, small air fryer, rice cooker, electric wok and Nespresso pod machine. The side burner on the bbq can be used as stove top. Whole house water filter fitted so all water is drinkable.
Step outside to your private patio with full size outdoor dining table and a Weber BBQ and enjoy meals whilst watching the sunset lake glimpses and tropical surrounds .
Undercover car park available at entrance, amd more parking available on the street.
Please note we live on the property and the self contained unit is on the top level of our house, overlooking the garden.
Access is via outdoor stairs at our main entrance so you may see us upon entry/exit.
Guest access
Guests have full access to The Palm Loft, a self-contained private space located on the top level of our home. The entrance is via a set of outdoor stairs, so please note it may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
You’ll have your own private balcony, kitchenette, bathroom, and living area to enjoy. We live in the home below and are available if you need anything, but we respect your privacy and want you to feel completely at ease during your stay.
Parking for 1 car is undercover and complimentary, and there is ample street parking if needed.
Other things to note
There is 1 queen bed. If you require the single/queen sofa bed made up for additional guests please let us know and we will have it ready for you.
We also offer a few optional extras, a simple home-cooked welcome meal, a fridge or pantry restock, or a small grazing board or breakfast hamper featuring local produce.
All items are prepared or sourced fresh, with care.
Just message me before your arrival and I’ll organise it for you. (Payment is handled securely through Airbnb’s Request Money feature.)
Parking: Free off-street parking is available directly in front of the property
Lake: Brisbane waters lakeside is at the end of the road. Enjoy a walk around the lake. There’s a small
Bush boardwalk trail opposite that you can cut through to walk to the Green Point shops, with chemist, supermarket and liquor, Op and cafes including a great Thai restaurant “Boons Thai”.
Aldi and some other specialty shops are also a short walk away in a different direction. Surrounding areas have local shops such as at Kincumber. Six Strings brewery is a great local pub.
Access: The Palm Loft is on the upper level, accessed via stairs, and may not be suitable for those with mobility limitations. Please consider this before booking
Privacy: The space is self-contained and private. Being the top level it does overlook other houses and our backyard. We live downstairs and are available if you need assistance. You may see us in the yard.
Pets on property: We share our home with a friendly dachshund, black labrador, and three-legged cat. They stay in our downstairs area only (completely separated from your accommodation, they cannot access the guest space, but you may see them in the yard.
Family-friendly: Ideal for couples or small families. Please note the pull-out single beds are best suited for children or adults who are happy to share the open plan space
Quiet hours: Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.
Nature: Expect the sounds of local birds.
No parties or smoking indoors.
