Tamar Valley Wine Route: Head north to the Tamar Valley (5-minute drive to the first cellar door). Don’t miss a tasting at Josef Chromy Wines or a stop at a local farmgate stall for fresh berries or cheese.
City Heart: The Launceston CBD, including the famous Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery, is only a 5-minute drive down the hill.
Getting Around
While Launceston is a walkable city, a car makes exploring the broader region much easier.
Parking: One free, dedicated off-street parking space at the property
Airports: Launceston Airport (LST) – 12–15 minute drive (15 km) | Hobart Airport (HBA) – approx. 2 hours 10 minutes (190 km)

We love sharing the reality of the Tasmanian experience. Launceston weather is famous for giving you four seasons in one day, so we’ve made sure the reverse cycle heating/cooling is efficient and effective for cozy comfort, no matter the forecast. Please remember to close the blinds and doors, as local wildlife sometimes wanders—keep the critters outside where they belong.
