Would have given it a higher rating except the host had a large trailer in the driveway which took up 2 spaces. We had to park partially on the wet lawn which was not good for us or his lawn.

The house was filthy and missing amenities such as bed pillows. Dishes had to be cleaned. Bathrooms had to be cleaned. There were clothes in the main hall closet, food in the freezer, the ice machine had melted and refrozen. And a person showed up at the door looking for the host to serve papers.

good for our needs

This property was in a nice area and the grounds were very pretty with the lake behind the house. The cleaning service made some mistakes - only one towel in the master bathroom and a dirty washcloth hanging in the second bathroom. There was a wet load of towels in the washing machine. The promised coffee maker was a Keureg and no pods were provided. The outlet in the master bedroom didn't work. This house was fine for our needs since we mainly just needed a place to sleep and the rest of the time we were away.

filthy dirty home on heart shaped pond

Nice house and nicely kept outdoors landscape,.....Inside however very dirty everywhere has not been deep cleaned or housekept in a long while, I.e. kitchen sink had wipe of some sort in strainer basket, egg yolk smeared on kitchen counter, floors/ carpets dirty with debris and most light switch handles buttons on microwave sticky/grimy with unknown substances. No silverware basket in dishwasher so do not know how the silverware gets washed. Bathroom shower had long hairs in drain trap from guests before, toilets had scum rings from lack of cleanings. We did contact Vacasa during the first hour of our stay, and multiple times thereafter, but heard nothing back from anyone the rest of the time we were there.

The rental company (separate from VRBO) was really great to work with. The house was clean, well stocked with everything necessary and additional comforts. We really cute and a lovely setting.
