About the home
“Bay Skies Retreat” is a near-new delightful double-storey family home in a quiet estate in San Remo, just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo. This home is a great base for exploring Phillip Island and surrounding areas. Local activities include bird watching, nature walks, photography, wineries, dairies open to the public, surfing, boating, fishing, snorkelling, paddle boarding, scuba diving, and the Grand Prix circuit. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs a central hallway provides access to Bedroom 6 which features BIR and a dual-entry ensuite (with shower & toilet), internal access to the Garage, a Laundry (with washing machine) and opens into the huge rear open plan Kitchen (with WIP) and Dining/Family Room (with 55" smart TV plus a selection of card & board games). Upstairs is a large central Rumpus Room (with 65" smart TV) that provides a fantastic second space to relax & spread out. This level also boasts the enormous Bedroom 1, featuring a huge WIR and ensuite (with shower & toilet), Bedrooms 2, 3, 4 & 5 (each with BIR), a Bathroom (with shower & toilet) and another separate Toilet.
Outdoor Areas
The rear covered Alfresco (with seating for 4) overlooks the rear yard. The double Garage (with internal access) has parking for 1-2 cars, with space for another vehicle (car and/or a small boat) in the sloped driveway, and additional street parking available.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Delonghi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and 5-burner gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The home has gas ducted heating throughout, plus 6 stand-alone fans which can be used where required, and an electric blanket for the Queen bed in Bedroom 6 (downstairs) available in the Winter months.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 8 beds, accommodating up to 12 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): Two King Single beds

Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
