“Vineyard View” at Mary’s Road in Mattituck is the result of a feat of love, love for open spaces, therefore the open floor plans as well as the open views of the vineyard expanse across the way or the tidal creek out back. The house provides a contrast of town and country feel with a beach home feel with its outdoor shower and large furnished patio, rolling lawns and manicured gardens. The home is a few minutes walk to Love Lane with its lively and award winning Love Lane Kitchen and the cheese shop and brewery.
It is also a short ride, 4 minutes by car and 10 minutes by bicycle to Bailie beach, with its imposing dunes, calm waters and views of southern Connecticut.
There are 5 award winning vineyards within 3 miles and many others within a ten minute drive.
The house at Vineyard View on Mary’s Road is an oasis within an oasis.

Amazing home! Went with 4 high school best friends to celebrate all turning 60. We had so much fun at the home sitting in all the cozy seating areas and talking the night away. The home had everything we could have wanted and or needed. It was so clean.David was a great host and answered all questions in minutes. The check in and out could not have been easier.It’s a great location as well. Quick drive to the Shelter Island Ferry and so many vineyards which was so fun!

Staff Retreat

We had a great stay! The house was super comfortable, and the hosts were so welcoming and accommodating, both leading up to, during, and after our stay. We were in town for a work retreat so we didn't get to spend as much time enjoying the house as we would have liked, but we would definitely stay here again!

David’s home is a fantastic property! House, location, walk ability, everything we wanted and more! Super quiet and peaceful. Beautiful, huge backyard with plenty of room for kids to play and adults to relax. The house was clean, very well stocked with everything and spacious. David was a super communicative host and made sure we had everything we needed. We live on the West Coast but if we’re ever back to Long Island, we will definitely stay here again!

The house was magnificent. Completely as described and then some. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. The host is top notch. He made the experience from booking through check out easy and seamless. Responsive within minutes. Could not have asked for more. We rented ffor my Sons wedding and between the host and the house itself, took any possible anxiety on the accommodation aspect of the weekend out of play. Bravo. Would definitely book again and couldnt possibly recommend it any higher.

Beautiful property in a lovely & convenient location

The property is very well maintained and in great condition. The view and surrounding is beautiful with vineyard view. The host David is lovely and very proactive in making sure that we are well taken care of before and even after the trip. He even offer possible earlier check-in and later check-out if we need. Our family had a great time and a really enjoyable stay.

Great home.

This home was super clean and very comfortable. It was cozy and very well stocked with basic needs. The property owner was accommodating and prompt in communicating when I had a question. I would highly recommend this home and hope to stay there again for our annual friends trip next year.

Family getaway!

Had a wonderful weekend at David’s house. House was much nicer then the pictures, beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. Had my morning coffee with a view of the deer that visited the yard. A relaxing weekend for all!

Wonderful House

We stayed at Vineyard View for my mom’s 70th birthday celebration and it was great! The house is beautiful, big, open and fully stocked. We loved it! The location is perfect and so close to wineries and farms. David was easy to communicate with and you can tell he takes pride in sharing his home with others. We will definitely be staying here again!

Wonderful stay with family!

David's property is so beautiful and perfect for a larger family to all stay together. There are three bedrooms on one end of the house, and then two bedrooms at the other end for some separation and privacy. Our dog loved the backyard, and the vineyard view was beautiful. Very close to town and all of the top North Fork spots! Would highly recommend.

Relaxing stay on the North Fork

Beautiful well appointed and spacious home near everything in Mattituck. We were there for a friends anniversary party but worked in two trips to nearby vineyards, went to a beautiful walking garden, and went to Greenpoint Brewery during our stay. Great touches throughout the home from the linens to the outdoor furniture. David was a wonderful and attentive host. Checked in to make sure we found and had anything we needed. We were pleased with everything during our three day stay. Would happily stay here again.

Most Fantastic Spot

This is clearly a spot that is 'home' to the owner..It is not a rental with leftover furniture from everywhere and basic supplies. You truly feel welcomed into a friend's home. The beds were sumptuous, the towels full and plentiful and the home beautiful. Amazing patio and porch spots for hanging out or sitting quietly with your book and wine. Host was wonderfully accommodating and easy to reach. My family stayed here for my son's wedding and it was the perfect spot. Already trying to line up a girls trip date for 2022 to book here.

Clean, neat, spacious property with great backyard and terrific views

Simply Outstanding. The property is meticulously clean and decorated with quality furniture. The beds are luxurious in every room. The kitchen is big, living room has comfortable couches and a separate seating area for conversations. It has a big screen TV for football games. The property feels like you are secluded in the country yet you aren’t far from restaurants, vineyards, orchards, produce stands, beaches or anything else’s you want to do. It is a high quality property worth staying at. I am from Michigan but if I am ever in the area again I would rent this place again without thinking twice about it. You won’t regret staying here.

Marvelous stay in Mattituck

Our group of 6 adults enjoyed our first trip to the North Fork of Long Island and our stay in Mattituck. The house was perfectly located to areas we visited. Nearby Love Lane offered several delicious options for us to grab breakfast each day. While the damp weather kept us from using the great outdoor spaces, the home was filled with windows making us feel like we were a part of it. The gas fireplace was a nice feature used at the end of each evening, while we listened to 'The Big Chill' LP on the record player. There was plenty of space for all of us. Host David C was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. We hope to get back to the area again and will definitely stay here.

The Perfect Getaway

My husband and I stayed at Vineyard View and had the MOST wonderful time. The house is beautiful, spotless, and has all updated/modern appliances, fixtures, etc. The yard is beautiful (there's a grill, fire pit, and everything you need to use them) and you have plenty of privacy. The house isn't SO big that it felt overwhelming for just my husband and I - it's extremely cozy, complete with a gas fireplace (which was SO lovely on the chillier nights). It could easily accommodate a large group too, though, since there are 5 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms - it'd be a perfect place to come back to with a group of friends. The location is ideal. Literally only a couple minute drive to wineries, restaurants, etc. David was wonderful, too - extremely responsive & made sure we had all of the information we needed to make check in, etc. seamless. I would highly recommend Vineyard View & will certainly be back myself.

North Fork Comfort and Convenience

Overall, our experience at the VRBO rental house in the North Fork with views of the vineyard was exceptional. The house provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. One of the highlights of the rental was the well-stocked kitchen. It had a great selection of chef's knives, good pots and pans, and utensils, making it a pleasure to cook meals together as a family. The presence of new high-end appliances further enhanced our culinary experience, and we appreciated the convenience and quality they offered. The back yard with its large patio was a favorite spot for our family. It provided ample space for everyone to relax and spend quality time together. Whether it was enjoying meals al fresco or simply lounging and taking in the surrounding views, the well-maintained patio area added to the overall charm of the rental. The location of the rental was another standout feature. Being close to the beaches, town, and farmers markets made it easy for us to explore the area and immerse ourselves in the local fun. We took advantage of the proximity to enjoy leisurely walks on the beach, visit the charming towns, and indulge in the fresh produce available at the farmers markets. The size of the house was perfect for our needs. The spacious kitchen and dining room provided ample space for preparing and enjoying meals together, the comfortable living room was a cozy place to relax. Overall amazing experience.

Our Stay at David's home was everything we hoped for. It was a beautiful home with everything we needed. David was a gracious and responsive host. The location was perfect, close the town, supermarket and beach. Highly recommend staying here!

Great weekend getaway!

I went with three girlfriends (four people total) for a weekend getaway in the north fork. House was great, better than I could have hoped for! It fit us perfectly, we all had our own rooms and private space. Could easily have fit more people if we were traveling as couples or sharing rooms. Living/dining area was fantastic. Kitchen had everything you could need and a great island for sitting around and drinking wine and living room was comfy and cozy. We didn’t get to use the fire pit, but we did sit outside back some and it was very relaxing. Location was great - close to wineries, restaurants, grocery store, ets. Nice little neighborhood to walk around. Host was very responsive and check in was a breeze. Highly recommend staying here!
