River Valley Retreat is a cosy converted shed turned tiny home with river frontage and bushland all around. Situated on just over 2 acres, it is ideal for artists, photographers and nature lovers. This peaceful two-bedroom stay offers a fully equipped kitchen, comfy lounge, and covered outdoor seating. Enjoy visits from local birdlife, tranquil views of the Blackwood River, and all the comforts of home just minutes from Bridgetown. Sleeps up to 6 with extra beds available.
River Valley Retreat – Tiny Home Escape with River Frontage & Bushland Views
Welcome to River Valley Retreat, a converted shed transformed into a unique tiny home, nestled on the banks of the Blackwood River. Surrounded by native bushland, birdlife and sweeping valley views, this peaceful hideaway is an artist`s and photographer’s dream, offering natural beauty in every direction and quiet inspiration at every turn.
Lovingly transformed with warmth and care, this two-bedroom tiny home is styled with timber accents, soft lighting and touches of rustic charm. With river frontage steps away and filtered views through the trees, it’s the kind of place where time slows down and creativity flows.
Inside you’ll find:
-Two inviting queen bedrooms with quality linen and restful styling
-Two additional single beds available upon request – great for kids or extra guests
-Fully equipped kitchen with full-sized fridge, oven, coffee machine and more
-Open-plan living and dining with comfortable seating and reverse-cycle air-conditioning
-Large windows offering natural light and bushland outlooks
Step outside to enjoy:
-Covered outdoor area with seating and tranquil views
-Direct frontage to the Blackwood River – perfect for sketching, kayaking, or quiet reflection
-Native gardens, bird bath and a sculptural firewood feature
-Visits from local guinea fowl, magpies, and other wildlife
-Peaceful bushland surrounds in every direction
Just minutes from Bridgetown yet completely immersed in nature, River Valley Retreat offers the perfect base for exploring, creating, or simply unwinding in a truly special corner of the South West.
Guests can enjoy the entire property!
Guests will not have their vacation interrupted in anyway. The property is very private.
The bathroom is located outdoors just off the patio.
Guinea Fowl are only to be fed seed. Do not give them scraps or leave food outside.
No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes use allowed in the home.
Guests will have full access to the property and the bedrooms booked. Prices quoted are based on twin share (2 guests using one bedroom). For example, two guests will have access to one bedroom. Less than four guests will have access to 2 bedrooms. A surcharge will apply if 2 rooms are needed for 2 people.
