Beautiful lake house and amazing location

We had a great stay at this beautiful lake house. The lake views were stunning, and the home was spotless and well-equipped with nice, modern appliances. The beds were very comfortable, and the peaceful setting made for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Wonderful lake front house

We stayed overnight while attending a nearby event and truly enjoyed the house. We wish we had more time to enjoy the lake front amenities while there. The house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. I would be happy to return and stay at the house again.

the property was appropriately priced. It’s not an immaculate or luxury property, but that’s not what you’re paying for. You’re getting a comfortable, mid-to-upper-range property on a beautiful lake in Michigan, and it delivers on what it promises.The kitchen and living room are the highlights of the property and definitely live up to the listing. Rosemary was also very responsive and attentive. When I mentioned that one of the deck umbrellas was broken, it was replaced the very next day.There are two older kayaks available for use, and while they’re not new, they were perfectly adequate and enjoyable to have. Overall, the property was well accommodated and offered good value for the price.I didn’t leave feeling disappointed at all. In fact, it was exactly what I expected—and hoped for—for a VRBO in this price range on a beautiful Michigan lake.

We are originally from Byron Center, MI now located in Florida and chose this location due to proximity as we came to visit family/friends. This was a beautiful lakefront rental on Camp Lake (which we've heard of but never been to) and what a beautiful lake it is! The property provides a dock if you wish to have a boat rental or a friend/relative that has a boat to enjoy for the day, etc.! The rental had 2 kayaks to enjoy and the life jackets were a bonus along with noddles, etc. to use! It was our first VRBO rental and it went much smoother than I expected! The host was very gracious and patient, especially with my lack of direction! The rental itself is very open, spacious with a nice size open kitchen into the living/dining area. Both bedrooms and the bathroom, spacious! The "bump out" was a favorite of mine sitting and watching all the boaters having so much fun. The deck is composite and a great size to enjoy! The only thing I would suggest is having 2 umbrellas as we were fortunate to have such beautiful weather and the sun was quite intense, we had to sit very close to one another for some reprieve, other than that, it really is a beautiful and spacious deck! We enjoyed the firepit at night with s'mores and fun memories of Michigan! We are already looking to book for next year! You won't be disappointed if you are coming for a well deserved, relaxing, clean, well appointed and did I forget to mention...beautiful lake view rental!
