This lake house is so charming and very clean!! Beautiful views of the lake, plenty of room, and well stocked. The check-in and check-out process was so easy. It was perfect for our weekend plans in Montello!

The home was very clean but somewhat cluttered with trinkets and oversized furniture. The pier was removed because of low water level. There was construction in the backyard so very little green space.

I’m sorry that you thought the Lake House was cluttered. It is very hard to make everyone comfortable. I believe the photos of the Lake House shows what is there. As far as building in the back yard, I have an Amish man building a gazebo. Unfortunately, he is working for me in his spare time. I believe there was plenty of green space to do whatever you wanted to. The Lake level is lowering to try to get rid of the weeds. The DNR has control of that. The gazebo and the lake level, hopefully will enhance the area.

Mary did a great job on recovery. Upon arrival the homekeeper had forgotten an item but Mary was happy to help and make it right the next day. Thank you Mary. I really enjoyed the row boat.

Relaxing stay

Very clean and comfortable- loved the backyard and looking out on the lake. Couldn’t get the canoe or paddle boat out due to all the cattails but loved sitting on the dock.

Beautiful view and so peaceful. Very friendly and accommodating owner!

We went for our 30th anniversary. Town was cute and lots of shops property was very well maintained and peaceful . Loved it and will go back!

There is much to explore in Marquette County. There are Wineries, Spas,Golf, Hiking, Geocaching, Biking and Bird Watching just to name a few. Back at the Lake House you can sit by the Lake or on the patio and relax with a refreshing drink.

There is many things to see and do in Montello. Did you know that there is only one stop light in all of Marquette County…that’s in Montello. The granite from the quarry was used for Grant’s tomb. Come and enjoy! Mary

Vey pleasant hosts. My hubby and I were there to fish, fish and fish. Celebrated our anniversary and it wasn’t lost on the hosts. They were so kind to drop off a card and gift. Used the pier morning till night. Caught HUGE, healthy bluegill. Larger than my husband’s hand. Catfish that gave a pretty nice fight, large mouth bass, perch and a pike. Although the area off the dock is very weedy at the time of year we went, we used Texas rigs, minnows and night crawlers. The crawlers caught the blue gills and minnow for everything else. The house is very well appointed, Kickin’ AC, town within walking distance. Definitely stop at oyster crackers for soup and Sammy. Loved the town. People are very kind here. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family.
