The A frame Chalet is situated beautifully in the forest, the rooms are large and comfortable. We had a great weekend. The kitchen had some sticky substance on the floor and the cabinets, but after a wipe, we managed. It was perfect for a friends getaway.
Amenities and lodging were as described and host was great! We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the house!

Unfortunately, our experience at this property was very disappointing. Upon arrival, it was clear the home had not been properly cleaned. The kitchen counters were sticky and dirty, the bathrooms were not clean, and the comforters had a noticeable odor. The hot tub was also in poor condition, with visibly dirty water and a lack of cleanliness that made it unusable during our stay. Most concerning was the discovery of what appeared to be crystal meth in an open bag on the living room floor. Finding suspected drugs inside a vacation rental is completely unacceptable and raised serious safety concerns. The overall condition of the home did not reflect the level of cleanliness and care we expected from a vacation rental. While the location may be appealing, the cleanliness and safety issues significantly impacted our stay.

Oh my gosh! when this guest mentioned finding something they did not call but sent me a u defined picture. i did have pest control in the house the day before their arrival ! of course my cleaning crew denied everything as well as the pest control company
I loved the ease of this cabin, almost everything was on the main floor, large kitchen, beautiful living room with soaring ceilings two bedrooms, a bathroom the only time we went upstairs to go to sleep and have privacy from our kids
We enjoyed our stay very much. We loved sitting in the spacious living room just visiting with family. The living room windows provided beautiful sunshine and a view of the rain during a storm, making us grateful we returned before it started. The beds were very comfortable. We had a few minor issues and Susan instantly replied to help resolve things.
Kitchen has old pots and pans that need to be replaced desperately. All utensils need to be replaced and draws need to be wiped out. Stove and oven need to be cleaned.

i’m bringing brand new pots and pans there but every time I go there there are so many pots and pans we can always find new ones. I will throw away the old ones.

The chalet was beautiful, spacious, and full of charm. Once you arrive, it is a peaceful and inviting mountain retreat with plenty of room to relax. The main drawbacks were logistical and comfort related. The roads leading to the property are extremely steep and winding. I grew up driving in the mountains, and the grade was steep enough that my SUV struggled. The beds were hard as a rock, which significantly affected comfort. In addition, no paper towels were provided, which was a small but noticeable inconvenience.Overall, it is a lovely place to stay, and with a few minor comfort and supply improvements, it would easily be a five-star experience.
We had a great time! Beautiful house, well-decorated, clean. The instructions need a little updating like there is no mailbox to park next to, there is a Keurig coffee maker as well as a drip, don't need to start washer--nothing major. Thanks for a wonderful time!
This vacation was picture perfect. If you like a charming alpine village and mountain top views from an A frame cottage, this vacation rental is for you. Imagine a treetop wooded lot right off the deck with a stone gas fireplace, a roomy well equipped kitchen with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. This cottage is functional but so comfortable and so relaxing that any vacationer would enjoy a short or longer stay.
Enjoyed being only a short drive to downtown to enjoy festivities. This place has a nice secluded feel and nice views. Plenty of room and tall ceiling made it feel very comfortable for a group. Overall we would come back.
This house was perfect for us to stay in while we were visiting family in the area. We love how it made easy access to Helen even on a crowded weekend. We would definitely stay here again.
Took my son and his friends to Helen for his Bach party. We had a great time! They are gamers and played FIFA the entire weekend. Great place to stay and we always enjoy coming to Helen
We had no problems at the home. Sue was more than gracious. Recommended some great restaurants in the area.
It was very relaxing. Snowed for 2 days.
Would definitely stay again.
