Welcome to our 1970’s retro beach house:

Lay Day House - A project by Lay Day Coffee - Hidden between the gum trees, this sun-drenched beach shack will feel like walking back in time. Located off one of Lorne's most highly sought after streets, Lay Day House is a newly restored fibro beach house inspired by the bold colours and humble materials of the 1970’s. With a cozy fireplace in the living room, bold cork floors throughout and mid-century wallpaper adorning the main bedroom, this 3-bedroom house is warm and cozy getaway that truly feels like a nostalgic ode to the past.

Inside
Three bedrooms sleep six with ease, served by two bathrooms. The kitchen is set up for substantial cooking — a Smeg fridge, a Moccamaster on the bench and plenty of Lay Day Coffee, and enough bench space for hosting. The island bench allows you to gaze out into the garden as you cook.

The living room and dining room are open plan with a French provincial dining table and mid-century lounge furniture allowing for a cozy and inviting feel.

Outside
The house sits on a sizeable block with a plethora of space in the newly designed garden. The deck has ample of amount of room to enjoy the morning sun, with a Weber in the corner to enjoy the long summer evenings. A gate is attached to the entrance of the deck for added safety.
