About this property

Private gated resort is located only short drive from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme park with abundant shopping at Champion's Gate Shopping center close-by. Unit is located a short walk from resort private beach and poolside restaurant.

Wyndham brand community features beautiful grounds, 4 heated pools, separate children’s splash pad water play area, tennis court, numerous charcoal barbeques, day spa, fishing dock and private sand beach with hammocks, padded loungers and sunshades. Bahama Bay is presently rated on TripAdvisor with four stars and it is recognized as one of the nicest locations in Central Florida. The numerous walking/jogging paths throughout the resort provide a beautiful way to enjoy nature.

The onsite Tradewinds restaurant and poolside bar is open from lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The on-site Cenote Day Spa offers a variety of luxurious massages, facials nails and body treatments.

Our condo features upgraded amenities, beautiful views and the three bedrooms sleep up to 8 people comfortably on two queen beds, two twin sized beds plus sleeper sofa in livingroom. The two full-sized bathrooms each include a shower and 2nd bathroom shower features low step in height.

Interior furnishings, décor and appointments have been upgraded to Wyndham platinum level for a very comfortable stay and enhanced appearance.

The two sliding glass doors in the living room and master suite open onto screened-in balconies with beautiful water views. The second floor location provides greater privacy from the numerous walking trails throughout the property.

The fully equipped kitchen includes cooking utensils as well as plates, glassware and cutlery. The spacious, full sized refrigerator/freezer has a built-in ice maker.

NO ADDITIONAL RESORT FEES!!!

The washer and dryer provides an easy way to launder any clothing if you choose. We do have a No Pets and no smoking policy. Unit includes baby high chair at no charge.

Overall

Overall it was in a great location, nice area, nice resort close to shopping and attractions. Amenities within resort were great and very kid friendly. The unit had a musty smell throughout our stay but we had fans on etc to mask the smell. All Pillows could use upgrading and not many towels so we were constantly doing laundry. Lots of blankets available. Would definitely consider booking again.

The unit that we stayed in was well supplied. We did have an issue with wasps in the enclosed balconies, but this was dealt with efficiently and effectively. We would definitely stay here again.

Great vacation spot!

Just got back from two weeks at this condo in Bahama Bay. We have been vacationing at least once per year at Bahama Bay since 2009. We really enjoyed our stay. Brandon, the owner, was very responsive and Juan, the maintenance guy, was a wonderful gentleman, and when we needed something, he came right away. The carpet was freshly cleaned the day before we got there. The beds were very comfortable. We bought our own cleaner and cleaned the bathrooms as soon as we got there, but we would do that anywhere. There were a couple of small issues that Juan came right away and fixed. Not luxury accommodations, but if you are looking for a nice place to vacation at a reasonable price, this is it! We would certainly stay there again! Thanks Brandon and Juan!!

Blissful

We wanted to stay away from the mania of International Drive and big hotels, this was the perfect solution. Roomy condo, everything we needed within it. 4 pools, a beach beside a lake, a restaurant. On average 25 minutes from Disney. 1.5 hours from Cocoa Beach, we managed to see 3 rocket launches from Bahama Bay (just check where East is and find a clearing)

Stayed for 16 nights in August, unfortunately it wasn't the best stay. This was the 3rd time my family and I have stayed in a private rental in Orlando (previously CLC Encantada & Emerald Island Resort) and this was our least favourite. The initial check-in all went fine and communication with the owner leading up to the day we arrived was all good. The condo itself is spacious, unfortunately on arrival the property had a stale/musty smell which included the bed linen in the master bedroom where my wife & I stayed. All of the plug-in air fresheners were empty which sort of defeated the object of them being there. We found that the freezer didn't work properly, items that were put it there were still not frozen 3 days later. One of the door handles to one of the balconies was broken and the one to the other balcony was coming off. The Kitchen is quite well stocked but most things just seem old and well used and could have done with a baking/pizza tray to put in the oven. Good power to both showers albeit the fittings were a bit squeaky. Big Sofa in the living room but not very comfortable, cushions were worn down and a bit grubby underneath, lots of food crumbs. When you pay a cleaning company $125 to clean your apartment after each stay you would expect them to do more than just a surface clean. The bed in the master bedroom was big and comfy and my girls said the single beds in the other room were nice. Small pool towels which were half the size of the sunbeds.
