Waterview luxury condo in gated resort close to theme parks with NO RESORT FEES!

Private gated resort is located only short drive from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme park with abundant shopping at Champion's Gate Shopping center close-by. Unit is located a short walk from the resort's private beach and poolside restaurant bar.

Relax on the beautiful grounds with 4 luxury heated pools, dedicated children’s splash pad water play area, tennis/pickleball court, numerous charcoal barbeques, day spa, fishing dock and private sand beach with hammocks, padded loungers and sunshades. Stay active on the resort tennis/pickleball court, beach ping-pong table, poolside billiard tables & miles of walking trails surrounded by a nature preserve (be sure not to get close to the baby alligators, numerous birds, turtles or other wildlife within the resort as they are protected by law). Tennis & pickleball equipment is available to reserve at no charge at the resort front desk. Bahama Bay is presently rated on TripAdvisor with four stars and it is recognized as one of the nicest locations in Central Florida.

The onsite Tradewinds restaurant and poolside bar is open from lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The on-site Cenote Day Spa offers a variety of luxurious massages, facials nails and body treatments.

Our condo features numerous amenities, beautiful views and the three bedrooms sleep up to 8 people comfortably on two queen beds with upgraded memory foam mattresses, two twin sized beds plus a sleeper sofa in the livingroom. The two full-sized bathrooms each include a shower and 2nd bathroom shower features low step in height.

Interior furnishings, décor and appointments have been upgraded to Wyndham platinum level for a very comfortable stay and enhanced appearance.

The two sliding glass doors in the living room and master suite open onto screened-in balconies with beautiful water views. The second floor location provides greater privacy and superior views.

If you decide to enjoy a meal in the condo, the fully equipped kitchen makes it easier with a variety of cooking utensils, plates, glassware and cutlery. Equipment includes full sized refrigerator and oven. Use the blender to make your favorite cocktail to enjoy on the private patio!

NO ADDITIONAL RESORT FEES!!!

The washer and dryer provides an easy way to launder any clothing if you choose. We do have a No Pets and no smoking policy. Unit includes baby high chair at no charge.

Great Family Vacation

Bahama Bay is a great resort! Condo is spacious, and comfortable. Host was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Great condo with everything you need!

Condo and grounds were exactly what we needed for our stay. The host immediately responded to the questions we had and the view of the lake was great. We hope to stay again next year!

The resort was awesome. Communication with the host was very good. The condo itself is dated but that would be reflected in the price, lower than a lot of comparable units.

Good atmosphere!

We enjoyed our stay even tho the weather was cold. Just a short walk to the pool and restaurant (good food) close to Publix and other food places. Had a few areas with cleaning issues but host was prompt to get it resolved. Would stay here again. Beds were very comfortable! Unit was roomy, kitchen had what we needed.

Overall the listing was exactly as it said it was. There was an issue with the washing machine but the host sorted it for us and was so easy to communicate with. The property was perfect for our family of 5 and we would definitely stay here again.

The unit that we stayed in was well supplied. We did have an issue with wasps in the enclosed balconies, but this was dealt with efficiently and effectively. We would definitely stay here again.

Family trip

Stayed with children and grandchildren, nice roomy condo. Traveled with 4 adults and 2 small children. Condo was roomy that accommodated all of us. Location in the resort was perfect, walking distance to pool/ restaurant. Location of resort was great, near all theme parks, shopping and restaurants.

Proximity to Tampa, Disney etc very good. The kitchen could use some more utensils, food storage containers etc., maybe remove the carpeting. Nice family vacation.

Wonderful stay in super comfy apartment

Our family had a wonderful stay at Brandon's apartment in Bahama Bay. We were impacted by Hurricane Ian and our Hosts were so understanding. The apartment itself was very comfortable, had everything we needed and Bahama Bay grounds are just magnificent.

Overall

Overall it was in a great location, nice area, nice resort close to shopping and attractions. Amenities within resort were great and very kid friendly. The unit had a musty smell throughout our stay but we had fans on etc to mask the smell. All Pillows could use upgrading and not many towels so we were constantly doing laundry. Lots of blankets available. Would definitely consider booking again.

We wanted to stay away from the mania of International Drive and big hotels, this was the perfect solution. Roomy condo, everything we needed within it. 4 pools, a beach beside a lake, a restaurant. On average 25 minutes from Disney. 1.5 hours from Cocoa Beach, we managed to see 3 rocket launches from Bahama Bay (just check where East is and find a clearing)

Beautiful resort, convenient location

Check in was easy and fast. The pool area is great and the food at Tradewinds is good and reasonably priced. The resort is close to restaurants and grocery stores and the Disney parks are around a 20 min drive. The unit was spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with basics, however if you wanted to make any meals you would need to supply everything including salt and pepper. I agree with previous comment that dish towels would have been nice. Just as a personal preference wished the tv in the living room was cable like the other tvs rather than roku Really enjoyed stay and would rent there again.

Great vacation spot!

Just got back from two weeks at this condo in Bahama Bay. We have been vacationing at least once per year at Bahama Bay since 2009. We really enjoyed our stay. Brandon, the owner, was very responsive and Juan, the maintenance guy, was a wonderful gentleman, and when we needed something, he came right away. The carpet was freshly cleaned the day before we got there. The beds were very comfortable. We bought our own cleaner and cleaned the bathrooms as soon as we got there, but we would do that anywhere. There were a couple of small issues that Juan came right away and fixed. Not luxury accommodations, but if you are looking for a nice place to vacation at a reasonable price, this is it! We would certainly stay there again! Thanks Brandon and Juan!!

Great condo in a great resort with awesome amenities

The condo is really well maintained. Everything works as it should. The check in is with a keypad so very easy. Check out is a breeze too. We were all comfortable in the apartment without issues. Full kitchen, washer, dryer. Comfortable and silent beds. The resort itself is well maintained too, there is some wear and tear if you really look but nothing excessive. The pools are all nice, the kids really enjoyed the splash pad which is quite large for being private. We were scheduled to go during a hurricane and the owner was very understanding and allowed us to move the dates a few days back to have better weather.

Very nice experience

My wife and I rented Brandon's three bedroom 2nd floor condo from January through mid April. The unit was just as described in the VRBO ad. It was very clean, well furnished and well maintained. It has two second story screened balconies overlooking one of the two ponds of which are well stocked with large turtles and small gators. At most anytime throughout the day you can sit on your balcony and watch one of several Gators laying in the Sun 75 ft away. The average Gator size is only 3-4 feet as they are removed from the property if they get 6 ft or more in size. There's a walking path around the ponds that total 3/4 miles for those who like a morning walk. We've stayed in many gated communities over the years and the Bahama bay property is the overall best maintained and landscaped of all the places we've stayed. All four of the swimming pools are heated and kept very warm. As a host Brandon was very attentive to our needs and quickly responded to our needs on the couple of occasions that we contacted him. We definitely recommend this condo if you're considering a stay at Bahama Bay. We've already booked for next year and are looking forward to January 2024.

Just okay

I will begin with the resort property itself. We found it to be quite good & overall well maintained. The clubhouse, pools, surrounding grounds & onsite restaurant were all very nice & well maintained. The actual location of the resort was a bit more remote than we had hoped for but overall it was fine. Our daughter was there to attend a conference at The Omni Resort and Conference Centre so the proximity to that location turned out to be manageable. The condo unit itself was a disappointment overall. Which is why I have given our stay a 3 star rating and a 2 star rating for the accuracy of the online listing. As indicated in the on line listing this unit is said to have a Wyndham Platinum rating. This rating, by our estimation, is very inaccurate. I will begin with the positives. The beds were comfortable, the linens plentiful & clean.. The cleaning staff had done a very good job of doing a ‘surface’ clean. However the unit itself is in bad need of a good ‘deep’ clean. The carpeting has definitely had its day. It just needs to be gone. The unit itself tends to be very dark. The outside trees are quite close to the small balcony & thus little sunlight is allowed in. The walls are painted fairly dark and the furniture tends to a dark and heavy decor. So overall the place tends to be dark and unwelcoming. The guest bedroom with the twin beds has a very dark red decor. It is just plain dark in there. A fresh coat of lighter coloured paint & new flooring, preferably something like the newer vinyl planking would go a long way to brightening up this place. The two bathrooms overall were fine. The kitchen has appliances that are definitely quite dated. The microwave is the newest appliance there. We did not use the dishwasher. We found it difficult as many of the upright metal tongs in the lower tray were broken off. I went to use the oven and needed a cooking tray which were in the bottom drawer of the stove. The trays in that drawer were all very old, well used and even looked rusted. I turned the oven off and just used the microwave. The refrigerator worked fine but is old too. Cooking utensils, pots & pans were sparse, old and well used. The one frying pan had the teflon coming off. So definitely not a ‘platinum’ status unit in our estimation. We were only there from a Sunday to a Saturday so we managed ok. Would I rent this unit again, given its present condition, sorry to say, definitely not.
