My name is Julia, I grew up in Halifax and spent my summers in Mahone Bay. My husband is from Ireland and we have a little 2-year old son. My husband works in the America's Cup world for the Italian team Luna Rossa. While we're in Italy we are renting out our newly restored and decorated home.

Why they chose this property

My folks live in Chester and we adore the village. We believe it's a very special little part of the world full of friendly people and beautiful scenery. We're a family of sailors and boaters so it's the perfect location to enjoy time on the water.

What makes this property unique

Seaglass House is over 150 years old and we have recently redecorated from top to bottom. The house has lots of beautiful little touches from the past while still being modern and functional. The top deck is a beautiful place to enjoy coffee with a view in the morning or soak up some sun. The downstairs terrace is ideal for an al fresco meal cooked on the BBQ. This is a special home with lots of character and we've made sure it's extremely comfortable for anyone staying. We hope you enjoy your time at Seaglass House.
