We’re sorry that parts of your stay did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify several points for future guests. Your visit took place in the middle of summer in Lake Havasu, with outdoor temperatures exceeding 100°F. The pool water was 82°F. While swimming comfort is subjective, the pool was not freezing. Our property is not advertised as a toddler-proof home. We understand the importance of safety with young children, particularly around a pool, but your repeated expectations that the entire home would be fully toddler-proof went beyond what we advertise. Families should consider their children’s needs when booking, and close adult supervision around pool access is essential. At your request, we sent our property manager to inspect the reported odor and check the locks. He could not detect the odor you described. We were not informed of any washing machine issue during your stay, so we had no opportunity to troubleshoot it for you. After your departure, the washing machine worked properly for our housekeeper, and we have been unable to replicate the problem you reported. We strive to respond promptly and helpfully to guest concerns, and we expect communication with our team to remain respectful. Several exchanges during this stay were aggressive and unkind. Given the mismatch in expectations and the nature of those interactions, we would not welcome a future booking from this guest.
