PLEASE READ BEFORE RESERVING: NO MOTORCYCLES OR SLINGSHOTS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS COMMUNITY.

Home highlights:
3 bedroom/4 bath + Loft, Wood Burning Fireplace, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Wi-fi has been UPGRADED to Charter High Speed Internet, Central Heat & Air, Covered Deck, Charcoal Grill, Pool Table, Easy access to the main level right off the driveway.
Free Parking can fit approximately 4 cars and Private Entrance.
220 Volt on site for a Tesla. EV's would need to have an adapter to be able to charge off the 220v. The Wallbox charger can be used with any Battery of Plug-In-Hybrid Electric Vehicle (BEV/PHEV) that is compliant with the SAE J1772. Including Teslas using the Tesla provided adapter. The wallbox charger is running on a 50 AMP charge.
Located in the 1,000-acre gated Smoky Mountain Retreat Community.

Main Level: Living Room with smart TV, Kitchen, new appliances, Dining Area, Wood burning fireplace. King Master Bedroom with smart TV and attached master bathroom with soaking tub. Separate Queen bedroom with attached full bathroom.

Upper Level: Loft with sleeper sofa, desk working area, plus a full bathroom.

Lower Level: Family room with smart TV and access to the lower deck, queen bedroom, full bathroom, laundry room, gaming room with pool table and a game table with board games.

2 pets up to 100lbs in total weight allowed with $100 nonrefundable fee.

The Smoky Mountain Retreat at Eagle’s Nest subdivision does not permit motorcycles or trailers on the mountain.

Peaceful stay in the mountains

Conveniently located near Lake Junaluska and Waynesville, yet secluded/peaceful. Hot tub was great and pool table a nice touch. Had a nice, short stay… would recommend.

Christmas 2022

This is a wonderful and comfortable home! We had 3 couples and 1 single with us. Everyone had their own bathroom and private sleeping quarters. Hvac operated perfectly, on demand hot water was great! It was nice to park vehicle’s in the garage as the temperatures hit -1 degrees. We anticipate renting this cabin again during the summer.

The house is incredible, and the views made this feel so much more than just 2 hours from Charlotte. We also really enjoyed the area as we did trips to a Buffalo farm, the blue ridge parkway and bear waters brewery with its deck right on the river. Check in and out we’re a breeze and I can guarantee we will be coming back soon!

Definitely a Mountain Dream

The house was perfect. We walked in to a clean welcoming house with exceptional mountain views. Each couple had a bed and bath that was spotless. We all commented on how well we slept and how we wanted to know what brand of mattress we were sleeping on. We only cooked breakfast at the house so I can't comment on how well the kitchen was stocked . The only suggestions I have are to have a better wine opener and a measuring cup for liquids. We enjoyed s'mores over the fire pit, our pool tournaments and relaxing in the hot tub. This house was all it was advertised to be and more.

We loaded up the kids and grandkids to let the "Littles" experience snow for the first time at Cataloochee Ski Mountain. Our home away from home was easy to locate and check-in and check-out was super simple. The cabin was easily accessible to grocery stores and activities in both Maggie Valley and Waynesville. Along with skiing we took the grandkids tubing and even did gem mining in the cold weather. We drove to Bryson City one day to have dinner and experience "The Polar Express. It was our first visit to Maggie Valley but it will not be our last!

The garage door opener they gave didn’t go to that garage door (different brands, even tried to program it just in case it was a universal remote, no go). Cabin was very clean and if you're used to Smoky Mountain cabins, this one is about as steep as the rest BUT it only takes 5 minutes to get up there and is right on the main road halfway between Maggie Valley and Waynesville. Hot tub worked perfectly and was very nice. Pool table is pretty true! One thing I thought was odd, is the rental agreement is not a docusign....you have to print, sign, scan, or have them snail mail it, sign it, and mail it back. Then after I mailed it back, I received 0 confirmation it was received, and no response via message until the third attempt 2 months later. HOWEVER, the ladies in the office were very polite and nice to deal with. To shorten all of this, way more positives than negatives, and we completely plan to rent this same property every year for the truck show!

Check in and out was very easy.I advise no fullsize, longbed trucks as the road from the driveway to the "main road" is tight. 4x4 a good idea if slick.the nest thermostat was fun. set it at 68* when going to bed, wake up to a house that's 58*, took 14 hours for the main living space to reach 66* It seems it's set on a schedule as it was constantly adjusting itself.the firewood was green, bring a good fire starter to get the logs going otherwise will smoke yourself out of the house and logs won't burn. the hot tub was nice, got to temp quickhouse was clean and supplied well except for kitchen garbage bags.only one outlet in the laundry room so if you're drying clothes you'll need to take the ironing board to the lower room to find an outlet. the one outlet in the pool room didn't work.nice pool table.

Beautiful home- no Wifi

The homes was beautiful and well kept. Aside from a partially removed floor threshold which my son hurt his foot on, the property was in great shape. For future renters with families: there is no outside space to play and no mountain view. There is a solo stove to take to a tiny area to light but it is heavy and awkward to get down there as it doesn’t fit through the stair railing and you have to lift it over. Most importantly for us was the lack of stable wifi. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY IF YOU NEED WIFI FOR WORK! After cutting in and out we called the property manager who was amazing. Tom was quick and responsive and did all he could. However he admitted that this was a property with unstable wifi. We work remotely and we’re not able to connect consistently to zoom without getting kicked off. We weren’t even able to send pictures via text. If you are looking to be off the grid this is a great place to do it- but the listing should be updated to reflect the spotty wifi and should not advertise high speed.
